This is a very basic villa and not particually well designed. The pool looks like it was an after thought in order to sell it through tour operators - the pool does not get the sun after 4pm! Everything about the place is very cheap, including the furnishings. There was no sheet change or maid service as promised and the lights to the pool were only allowed on for a hour each night! When we arrived there were no lights on at all and because the villa area is badly designed you have to park away from the house, down steps on the other side of the pool. This was really dangerous - we could not see were the pool was to get to the house! They turned all the lights in the grounds off at 10.30pm! we had to take a torch when going out for dinner. Nothing made you feel like the owners were trying to make your stay comfortable. It is not very tranquil with loud generators and packs of dogs howling. The villas are very close to one another. However, the setting is quite pretty and Latsi is only a 15 min walk. Be careful not to confuse this villa on the internet with another Villa Aphrodite that is also in Latsi and much nicer pictures! The pictures they use on Thompson for this villa are very old and not very representative. We have hired loads of villa's of all standards in many countries and I would not recommend this Villa for the price.

A beautiful Villa, set about 10 minutes away from the beech and harbour of Latchi.
Villa has everything you need, whilst I wouldn't describe it as luxury it is certain not basic. The pool is private, only if you are in the top corner can you be over looked.
If you do stay here take a torch. We walked into Latchi most nights for a meal (which are very nice), the walk back is dark along a quiet road. All perfectly safe but a touch is a nice to have.
Make sure you go on a boat trip from Latchi, we had one that left at 1030, returned at 1500. Saw the area, swam in the most beautiful water with fish swimming around us, and then had a bbq on the boat, was well worth £15.
Not a party capital by any means, do not expect to go there and go clubbing. Best of all no horribly English fast food in sight.

Wow!! Nice private villa close to the beach and in a quiet location.
The house was very clean and comfordably furnished and offered a fantastic view to the nearby sea. The wonderfull garden with beautiful flowers, plants and private swimming pool gave us an unforgettably holiday.
The location was ideal for my children becouse the beach was just 300 meters away from the villa.
Even Latchi harbour is only a 15 minutes walk.
We will definately go again!

The Villa Aphrodite was excellent, the pool fantastic, the location great ( views were brilliant from the balcony ), and very quiet, although there were some local "barking dogs" from time to time.
The only complaint was a lack of shade to park the car.
The temperature was 95 every day and the car sat in the heat without shade, a cover is needed urgently for the parking area.
We disagree with the previous comment as the villa and pool was great - sunshine on the pool until 6.30pm.
If there was a shaded area for the car there would have been no complaint at all.
