Villa Androniki sits in a huge plot with an adjoining olive orchard. It has other villas around it on 2 sides so it's not exactly private, but they are some distance away. A couple of these villas had noisy occupants, which was an annoyance, but that's how life is when everybody lives outside.
The "plus" part of VillaPlus makes a big difference, especially the pool table that saw a lot of action. You get satellite TV (limited channels, but good for the soaps!) a DVD player and a Sony Playstation. This particular villa had a hot/cold water displenser, a dishwasher, laundry room and a well appointed kitchen.
Out and about a vehicle was essential as it's too far to walk anywhere from the villa. It was obvious that going to the Euro has really hit tourism in Polis/Latchi. Things were definitely more expensive than last year and all the tavernas and beaches appeared half empty. We had 2 very disappointing meals in Latchi and went to other places to eat after that. Finikas and Moustakalis in Polis were good. Fly Again out on the coast road through Argaka was OK, but our favourite turned out to be the Farmyard taverna in Kathikas (a 20 minute drive but well worth it).
I'd definitely recommend VillaPlus and you'd be hard pressed to find a better villa than Villa Androniki. Latchi/Polis is a good area for anyone wanting a quiet break with nice beaches (although we stuck with the pool in the villa). Latchi has the usual water based activities - diving, glass bottom boat, boat hire, fishing etc. It's easy enough to drive to Pahos for more excitement. A local we spoke to guaranteed it wouldn't rain until November, so no worries about the weather!
One last point - Paphos airport gets a new terminal later this year. The existing one isn't too bad, so the new one should be really good.
