The staff were good. No problems with them speaking several different languages. The holtel was cleaned daily. There was a good choice at breakfast. The facilities include a large restaurant, a large bar with nightly entertainment and a quiet lounge. The main pool is a decent size with a separate smaller pool to one corner and a further paddling pool in another. The only downside to this hotel is the incredibly thin walls. No sound went unheard!!

myself and 3 friends visited the aqua hotel bella playa aged 16, 17 and 18 on first arrival surrounding area of the hotel doesnt look very clean at all, but inside the hotel is a completly different story very very clean, most staff are very friendly.
Hotel entertainment is not the best but will do for children upto the age of ten!
Beach entrance is only a 5min walk away from the hotel.
Surrounding pubs and clubs nearly all excellent all in walking distance of the hotel (highly recomend the scottish and irish pub which unfortunatly are in opposite directions of the hotel, also club wai kiki is phenomenal) local shops are ok....men little scary as you walk past sometimes try to grab you to pull you in so just watch yourself!
Hotel food is not the best if your a little fussy like myself it was all mainly things like cooked rabbit etc not my sorta taste i have to say! chips were normally cold but on the odd occasion the pasta was ok....we mainly lived on the restaraunts in the surounding area. also breakfast was a little to early especially as we come tumbling into to bed around 4am and breakfast began at 6 and finished at 9! Overall was a pretty good holiday but i would advise if going to costa brava go to Llorett De Mar as we had friends stayin there and went to visit them on many occasions there hotel was fabulous and the area was so much more cleaner. although ours wasnt too bad!

Very clean Hotel. We had been booked into another hotel but that closed so we stayed here, and what a good exchange. The staff are very friendly and speak excellent English. The food was good if you enjoy trying new things. Plenty of space if you wish to sunbath with a large pool and indoor pool, which is good if the weather is not as good as you had hoped for. Good sized games room for the kids. Very large bar/lounge area and a large patio. They also have access to the internet which was reasonably priced. Overall I would return to this hotel as our stay was very enjoyable.

The hotel was very nice, very clean and the staffs were excellent. I agree with previous comments though that the walls are very thin and you seem to hear every noise from other guests. I think to be fair, it was high season and very busy, and perhaps a bad week when we were there, that there were a lot of rowdy teenagers and young males, but pleased to say not English.
I think the hotel would be excellent in the quieter months and I would go back there, but not in high season.
