Hotel Serhs Oasis Park

My wife and I booked through Thomson. Disgusting dirty room, noisey and surrounded by drunk teenagers, terrible restaurant, food and public areas. Worst Hotel we have stayed in over twenty five years of visiting Spain. We left the following day and booked into another hotel, which was much better, though I would never choose this resort again over many others we have previously visited in Spain. Sprawling, decaying concrete jungle, overun by foreign, drunk teenagers.
Thomson's local team were hopeless, and the most senior Thomson person at resort refuses to speak to clients - very diappointed!!!

My partner and I arrived at this hotel and our first impressions were good, nice big and clean hotel... But how wrong were we... The greeting we received by the female receptionist was not the best, she was rude and very unwelcoming ...When we originally booked the holiday I asked for a Double and Non smoking room, but to my disappointment we were put in a Twin and Smoking room..... I made a complaint to the staff about our room and was told to come back the next day as the hotel was full... I did this and finally put in a double room..... We stayed on a all inclusive basis, the food was OK but very basic...... We soon discovered there were a lot of German teenagers staying in the hotel, massive groups of them..... The whole day they made constant noise, shouting and took over the swimming pools...... Then to top it off they would continue their noise through -out the evening and night.... They kept us awake by congregating outside of our room until at least 5am by shouting, screaming, slamming doors and knocking on guests doors and running away.... I had enough and complained.... To be honest the male receptionist promised he would sort it and he did.. The next nights sleep was not to bad but they were still making noise. There are seven floors and they were on every floor, they took over the hotel and didn't give a t*ss about anyone else in the hotel.....If you are looking for a relaxing break I would NOT recommend any English people to stay in this hotel, stay away.... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED....

This was our honeymoon and i was a bit disapointed nothing was arranged for this. The food was all german based but all the staff was very friendly. The most disapointing thing was the german teenagers. They was very rude and kept us up until early hours of the morning banging and screaming.I wouldnt recommend this hotel because of this.

Oasis park hotel - Celella - A very nice hotel, very clean and tidy every day. Decided to go all inclusive and for what we paid we could not fault the hotel at all. all staff from receptiion staff to cleans spoke good english and were very helpful. (Food) - breakfast both english and continental, - Lunchtime hot and cold meals from shepards pie - salads. Dinner again both hot and cold meals - from pasta to chichen korma. with all inclusive food and all drinks are avaliable from 7.30am - 1200 midnight. It has 3 pools (1 for the kids) and 2 adults pools with pool side games and entertainment.
its about 15 min walk from beach which is all up hill. but other than that a very pleasent stay

Just arrived back after 4 night stay, good points - The room had one twin and one double with a twin sink bathroom all air con and two balconeys ( side note - the walls and ceiling are thin and you can hear people walking or moving furniture around while cleaning) 3 choices of swimming pools from large to kids pool on different levels. Fairly close to the beach 10 min walk. Hotel clean and kept cool in those hot days. Bad points - where to start !! Calella resort looks like it took on Benidorm 30 years ago and lost, so now its a poor area with no money spent on the up keep. very concrete jungle with low quality bars and resturants. the hotel only has one bar area which serves you drinks in plastic cups and self service of cheap pop, the bar is noisey with kids entertainment so most adults sit outside with limited tables. the extra bar was closed. one thing which I did not like was wearing a blue band the whole holiday to show all inclusive, which I had to pay 5 euros each deposit for which I did get back on leaving.
There is a resturant called: Casa Carlos on the corner of a street looks ok but our meal was terrible, starter mix salad with came with lettice, tomato and thats it, main course I ordered mix grill which I got a sasuage, small chicken wing and a small piece of meat. my partner got 5 prawns on a plate - nothing else, asked for bread - run out, 1 glass of beer & 1 glass of coke. bill - 51 euros for that.
The hotel reception staff are ok to useless rating, our shuttle bus notice was not shown for pickup and we was told its upto us to sort it out, they would not help what so ever.
Bottom line - we paid £287.00 each for a cheap get away holiday and we got a average to poor holiday, will pay that bit extra next time. Hotel ok ish, resort poor run down nothing to do. perk - SUN

just came back from a 6 night stay, we had a great time, the food isn't all that and it is mainy catered for Germans than english but yu can usually find something if your not to fussy although there is not alot of variety!!
Alc drinks are only served from 12 to 11.30pm and you are removed from the bar at midnight, not a bad location and the pool area is really nice - just make sure your down there at 9am to get a spot tho!!!
I'd go back definatley although possibly not all inc at this hotel

We have only just arrived back from our family holiday, to Oasis Park Calella.
The rooms were very clean they were cleaned every day with fresh towels. I would say that the walls are thin.
The reception staff were very helpful with excellent local knowledge and great english.
Durnig our time there it was mostly family of various languages, English, French, German, Dutch, Holland.
There were two large pools one of which proved more popular due to the sun being always on that pool.
Durning the day the enterment was excellent, from kids to big kids all taking part. We have a child of 8 so he enjoyed the kids club. Activies, Darts, clay models, painting, sand bottles, face maskes, water basket, hopps, and lots more. At night the enterment was excellent the various dancers, singers, greese, and bingo.
Food i cant complain it was a buffet style menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. There were snacks available if you felt hungry durning the day and the buns and wee biscuits were good as well. We did however put on a few pounds. The staff in the canteen did there job but did not speak any english.
The drinks were unlimited but you had to pay a small sup for the Colo Cola 20Cents
The only conplaint we would have is that we didnt see any rep from sun 4 you. Transfers were all arranged by sun 4 you but make sure you have all the confirmations
and holiday numbers.
We tryed the beach which was lovely but sharp on the feet, distance is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We also tryed Water World which is in loret demar this is a good family day out but go early as you have to que for all the rides 90 mins.
This is a great 3 start cheap hotel with all excellent facilities.
On the whole we were very happy with this hotel!!

My family and i have just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel Oh Dear!!! We were sold the holiday as a family hotel having 3 kids 13 8 & 2 this is what we needed. On first appearace the hotel seemed really impressive we were in a family room with separate bedroom for kids which was always clean and fresh. The food was ok but most of the time cold and it was the same old thing daily never labelled and not enough variety, but salad was good if you like it daily. The waitresses were really friendly and good with the kids. The swimming pools are clean but freezing cold. The drink measures are good but they charge you extra supplement for the good coffee and coca colas which i dont agree with as its an all inclusive. The problems was its a hotel for GERMANS on 18-30 break. The noise was constant shouting cheering screaming running up and down corridors day and night , smoking dope and practically have sex while our kids watched . They were rude towards english they shoved our children around, swarmed into dinner hall like locusts devoured the lot then moved on to bar to start down there. The walls were thin so you could not sleep and the children were woken constantly. This hotel is not suitable for families or anyone over the age of 25 years. The area of calella is ok but once youve walked round once youve seen it all and the beach is shingle and sharp on the feet. And on another point do not book the resorta hoppa for your transfers its a total farce. Its a shuttle service so when we arrived had to wait 2 hours to be collected then dropped in middle of night on a street corner and had to find our hotel 3 roads away in the dark with luggage kids pram etc. Then they were 2 hours late picking us up had my details mixed up with someone elses and only just got us to airport in time after £20 0f calls to help desk its a total joke. The bars are good around the hotel Gran cafe is great for happy hour but Beachboy club manager is really obnoxious but flat cap phill karaoke is brill. We had read some of these reviews before we went and thought we'd see but there all right so be warned. Happy holidays!!!

reception not helpful with transfer problems or phone. food basically the same most days not always hot, resturant not big enough had to queue out side for tables, staff never spoke to us at all during our stay, pools three of are the best thing about this hotel apart from the drinks v good measures bar staff ok. staff interested in their selves only i did ask why they dont speak to the guests and they didnt want to know beach is fine with plenty of snack bars but basicaly food all the same as hotel not much varity. did have a nice time but worst i have stayed in if u have expectations this hotel is not for you. barcolona is 1 hour away by train 6 euros return well worth a visit .lots of problems with transfers pre booked in the uk we were picked up at 3 flight was at 10 1 hour transfer time lots of people left at airport or dropped at wrong hotel and left to get on with it

just got back from oasis park callela, worst hotel in callela! and ive stayed in a few. firstly, 2nd day into hols went for breakfast, returned 30 to 40 mins later to room, and find £50 in cash and wifes wedding and engagement ring stolen! maids were cleaning rooms at this time. turned out that in the day aprox 12 rooms had money and jewellery stolen as well as credit an bank cards. management did,nt want to know and repeatedly quoted "my staff have been with me years" police checked for forced entries, none. then theres the german students, at least 200 of them shouting and bawling vomiting, at 4am in morning used condoms on stairwell, it was hell on earth,and was fed up of telling reception about the noise every night.(walls like cardboard and you can hear every word neighbours say!) the hotel was cheap but you get what you pay for and my advise to anyone is pay the little bit extra and avoid this hotel at all costs, it is not for families and elderly and mainly for germans not english. the 1 rating is for food, just edible if you like salad!
