We spent our silver wedding anniversary at Aloni in 2003. had a wonderful time. views excellent. described as secluded and private but had 'visitors' most days from the cleaner to the poolman and electrician. that aside the villa is fantastic and the wildlife brilliant. Car essential for eating out so alcohol consumption limited for the driver.

Superb villa set atop the cliff overlooking the bay with fantastic view of Albania. My wife and I spent a most relaxing two weeks with our three teenage children who had a wonderful time as well.
Not for those who want fast paced night life but if you want to sip a cocktail in Damianos bar and watch the ferries go by from Kerkyra en route to Italy, look at the swallows who are nesting in the roof of the beach side pergolas and generally enjoy the warm welcome and service in this resort then book up!
If you are looking for all day English breakfast, satellite TV, karaoke bars and kiss me quick hats then you are definitely not going to enjoy the peace tranquillity and beauty of San Stefanos, there are more lively resorts available to you on a different island. The only problem I am having now is with the web site featuring Aloni Villa, since Something Special handed over to Thomson it is difficult to see availability and prices for this beautiful villa.
Be advised if you holiday on Corfu and hire a car and need to return it with a tank full of petrol, garages are not open at night, if you have a night flight make sure that you have filled up during the day to avoid problems when you return the car.
