We had a lovely family holiday at this villa last October during the school half term holiday. The villa was very spacious and had everything you could possibly need during your stay. We found it clean but somewhat dated but don't let that put you off. The outside area made up for it! Plenty of sun loungers, great pool, BBQ, table tennis table.
The owners live on site but we only saw them twice, we really didn't know they were there. The villa is situated about 15 mins walk from the beach at Luz. There are a selection of shops and resturants but not a lot else. The town of Lagos is a short drive away and offers a much greater choice.
We would recommend the villa and location but advise this is probably aimed at younger families and older people. Your teenagers wouldn't thank you for it!
Also if you take a trip this time of the year check out if the attractions (water parks) will be open during your stay- not all are.
