We took a chance on this place to celebrate 25 years of marriage. We wanted a quiet, well appointed hotel with staff that where both freindly and efficient. We wanted good food and drink and a comfortable room with good views. We wanted easy acces to both the resort and neighbouring Pollensa. We wanted a small well run cafe/bar with good food for lunch and a reasonable priced pint near by (bar majorca).
We got the lot. A great little hotel with some lovely suprise touches.

I gave this Hotel a 9 because nothing is ever perfect but this hotel, money for money, location for location is as close as I have experienced perfection.
Excellent staff who have never been overstretched on my visits. Friendly guests who didn't care what you looked like. Excellent food at breakfast, on the terrace for lunch and in the evening in either of the restaurants.
So good my wife and I are going back for our third time in 3 years, we are sorry we did not find about it sooner.
Great quality, unstuffy, staff who offer excellent service but who are never in your face or obsequious. In a great location.
Pity there are a few of tatty bars in Cala San Vicente. If that is the real Mallorca you can keep it and we will stick to Hotel Cala Sant Vicenc.

The hotel was clean and the rooms very well presented. In addition, the food was of a very high standard and the hotel is well located, very near the beautiful Cala San Vicenc bays.
However, the hotel lacked atmosphere and seemed to be rather joyless in most respects. I enjoy relaxing, but I prefer to do so in an environment which is friendly, serene and pleasant. However, I often felt very uncomfortable in an atmosphere which seemed to be full of staff who -whilst friendly - were over stretched. In addition, there was a continual feel that you were 'on show' and just not able to relax and enjoy your holiday, even in a quiet way.
This hotel would appear to suit someone who does not specifically enjoy the beautiful island of Mallorca in any way, but instead prefers to just 'get through it' and be grateful they are staying in a place where they will not be disturbed. All in all, I did not feel I got value for money.

Have been back to the hotel several times over the last few years, usually in March. There has been very little "turnover" of staff since we started going and they are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is family run and several members attend a welcoming Cocktail reception on Monday evenings.
The rooms are very comfortable and there is a choice of dining in the superb restaurant or the equally superb trattoria.
The hotel is not usually too busy at the time of year that we go but we have been in the "heat" of August and the service and quality of food has never suffered because of the numbers of guests.
Overall, there is a "homely" feel about the hotel and we shall be returning again in 2006!

This was our second visit to this lovely hotel. It is quite simply an oasis of peace and tranquility with friendly and efficient staff and excellent service.
It is the added attention to detail that makes this hotel so special - like the note from the chamber maid to say when the room would be made up each day and to request a different time if this was not convenient. We were served home made fruit sorbet by the pool to counteract the heat and the displays of fresh flowers were a delight.
The rooms are well appointed and beautifully furnished and the pool and gardens delightful. The food is excellent whether it be a snack by the pool or in the restaurant or trattoria.
If we could transport this hotel to other locations around Mallorca we would!
