Stone House Villa was basic and clean. However brochure photographs do not represent a true reflection of the outside views.
Surrounding Stone House villa are a number of partially constructed villas. Building work was being carried out even though we were resident in the villa. The closest work being about 50 metres from the poolside.
However Latchi is a lovely resort which never fails to disappoint.

On arrival you are captivated by the view but it didn't take long for this to be overshadowed by other things. Firstly the mosquito's ate me alive, not the villa's fault i know but the inside of the villa was musty and tired, the wooden furniture had its fair share of woodworm and when paying nearly £1300 for a weeks holiday one would expect the toilet seat to be fixed both sides!! Day 3 I found a flea in the bed, add this to my mosquito bites and enough was enough, we moved apartments. I have to say that Simply Travel/Thomson were fantastic at sorting this quickly and I can't praise them enough. The brochure also shows the bedroom overlooking the Ithaca Straits but this only applies to villa no1, not both which was also a little disappointing. Anyway moved apartments and proceeded to enjoy Kefalonia, a lovely place to holiday.
