Colomba d'Oro Hotel

I visited in July 2004 for 3 nights and am very pleased with what was offered. My room was clean and tidy with a marble bathroom en-suite. Buffet breakfast was excellent and I can honestly say that the coffee was the best I have ever tasted. Didn't really make use of any of the other communal areas (bar/lounge) so can't really comment on those. We had a room at Colomba d'Oro late October during 4 days. The price for a double was 150 euros. The room was quite large (25 to 30 square meter) with a very nice marble bathroom and a balcony. The room has been renovated recently but the atmosphere is really romantic with mirrors and fine decorations. The service was efficient although sometimes distant.
