This is the second year my wife and I have stayed in one of the two self-catering apartments. The apartments themselves are excellent, with one bedroom, very large lounge/kitchen with additional sofa beds. Bathroom has shower (no bath) and washing machine. There are two balconies and a terrace for sunbathing and there are quayside tables for dining.
The host, Robert, is outstanding and humorous and happy to take a guest on one of his daily fishing trips. Although self-catering, there is always food available and most evenings we ate fresh fish by the harbour.
Loviste is a quiet fishing village, with a stunning bay. We stayed in May and if you are looking for a quiet resort (probably need a car for visits to islands etc) you will not find anything better than this. Very highly recommended.
