Simple & comfortable accommodation in a pretty, restored, 19th-century building, close to Lapad bay &within easy reach of Dubrovnik's old town. At the top of the pedestrianised promenade leading down to Lapad's bay, two stately palm trees herald the entrance to the Hotel Zagreb. This turn-of-the-century red-ochre coloured building is set at a discrete distance back from the walkway.

Great location in a lovely setting.
Room pretty comfortable, reasonably spacious, although it was at the back of the hotel, the garden view is great. Safe easy local bus to the old city and bus station at the end of the street. Staff helpful, if unsophisticated, one person seems to do everything.
Breakfast good for the rate and again, lovely setting on open or enclosed terrace. Out the door onto walkway to the beach, plenty of cafes, restaurants.
