The NH Salzburg hotel is ideal for a good value city break in the beautiful city of Salzburg.
Its biggest plus is the location, close to the train station, in a quiet location but only a short stroll to the bridge that leads to the walled old town.
The hotel is contemporary and modern with a nice bright reception, the bar and restaurant are in the lobby area and are comfortable places to eat and drink. The rooms are modern and comfortable with good heating which you need in Austria in March.
Close by is a pedestrianised area with plenty of shops bars and restaurants that leads down to the bridge across to the old town, this area is stunning with narrow streets full of quaint shops and cafes, also you can visit Mozart’s birthplace.
Overall I would say Salzburg is an ideal place for a city break and the NH Salzburg hotel is an excellent choice for a base.
