We visited the Archondisa in October. Chania was lovely and the accommodation is ideally situated amongst the old streets near the harbour, lots of nice restaurants etc very nearby.
The accommodation is basic - uncomfortable and very small living area and poorly equipped kitchen. However as you don't really spend much time inside it was ok and we ate out every evening. The accommodation is over 3 floors and there should be a warning about the stairs - they are almost vertical! Bonus was the roof terrace which provides good sunbathing.
A good option for a cheap, late holiday, but not for those used to luxury!
