This is a fantastic villa to stay in if you are with friends or have children. It is spacious, clean and has everything you need for a self catering holiday (except a dishwasher).
Its location is perfect if you fancy being close to local amenities and the beach but not in the middle of it. The road to the villa is a bit rough to say the least and the private track leading up to the villa takes a while to master. I opted for just closing my eyes!
There is a restaurant about 2 mins walk from the villa (rather strange considering you are in the hills), however I wouldn't recommend it. The food is ok but over priced. The owner also needs to work on his social skills. It does though if you arrive on a Sunday and nothing is open for groceries etc. You can get all your groceries from Frigillania if need be.
There are some great Tapas bars (just look for the locals and not the tourists). Otherwise Nerja has all you need with some great supermarkets.
When we were there the weather could have been sunnier but it didn't put us off. It was obviously warmer by the sea as opposed to in the hills. We discovered on our journey back to the airport that there is a large shopping mall about 20 mins from Nerja, so something for a rainy day.
We had a great time and are returning next year.
