Il Torrino Villa

Very nice accommodation in a beautiful spot. Each apartment has its own private terrace and barbecue, courtesy of some carefully grown hedge screens, and there is a swimming pool shared between the 7 apartments as well as a tennis court and table tennis. The views over the Tuscan hills are wonderful.
The apartments are very nicely furnished and the owners very helpful. You might find the tiny cups and teapot inadequate if you drink a lot of English tea, though! There are washing machines and an iron available for communal use, which was very useful.
The town is about 2 km away, but there is a very nice restaurant about 1 km away, which is the distance of the property from the main road. Florence, Siena and Pisa are each about an hour’s drive away, and San Gimignano is half an hour. We enjoyed walking in the woods which surround the property, and did a long way-marked circular walk which was really lovely, despite the steep gradients in places. We would definitely like to go again.
