We travel with airtours, to start with we had a 24 hour delay and when we arrived at dunaflor they didnt really know anything. We were travelling with friends and requested to be close to each other. When we arrived we found out that they had given are room to someone else as we were 24 hours late. Are friends room was by reception and are's was on the self catering side even though we were all inclusive. O.K Where do i start, DUMPAFLOR!, Me and my girlfriend arrived at about midnight, we walked in reception which is the smallest reception ive ever seen, they both very rude and printed us a just about seeable map of the place, we were left on our own to find it, it took us 30 mins, once in there the place was tiny, the maids nicked all our change and used the same quilts, we had to ask for toilet paper cos they forgot, the bar was to loud, and all the germans would get up in the early hours of the morning and put there towels on the sunbed so... more

I loved it here! the place was spotless and the service was great!! I went in aug 2003 and im goin back in 2004! There is a great disco that stays open till the early hours. The pool is great.....cleaned a lot! Food is great, taxi service right outside.......Yumbo centre is full of great restaurants. Going to Playa del ingles is well worth the time!! A great family place! U cant go wrong if you choose Dunaflor!!!

I have no idea what all the moaning was about regarding these apartments. I was quite worried when I read some of the reviews as we had booked last minute and weren't really sure what we were going to get. I was most relieved when we arrived in the early hours of the morning to find the reception not only staffed but friendly and efficient. We were given a goody bag containing a small salad, bread and fruit which was most welcome after the horrors of airline food. The apartments were a good size and tidy, the cleaners were in... more

Was a bit worried about the Dunaflor after reading reviews, but found it to be excellent. Rooms were clean, a maid came 5 days out of 7. The map directing us to our appartment was easy to use, in fact our 5 year old daughter found the room using the map. The food was great, we were all inclusive. There were a lot of Germans there, but that wasn't a problem, most were sociable. The pool area was great too. We would go again tomorrow, and we have stayed in 5 Star Hotels in most European Countries and this place was just the job for a Family... more

secruity was great i felt very happy to leave things in the appartment the place was very clean but were left to find our appartment which took 30 min although the next day it took 5 min, people were not friendly everthing was aimed at the germans my advice is great place to stay if you are prepared to get a taxi and go out for the entertainment

We have just returned from a weeks holiday staying at the Dunaflor Apartments, Maspalomas. Where shall we start?! 1) the apartments, although looked ok from the outside, weren't up to standard cleanliness wise...the cleaners were hardly about. 2) had to ask for clean towels at reception, and we got a very 'frosty' reception at that. 3) sheets I guess must have been cleaned, but were stained, so were pretty undesirable. 4) the staff were very unfriendly overall - they obviously prefer the German guests! 5) the sunbeds... more

Well we have just returned from holiday in sunny Gran Canaria and we stayed at the Dunaflor and we were expecting the worse based on the reviews I read AFTER we booked the holiday. I was thinking the apartments would be dirty, basic and the cat problem was extremely disturbing?.HOWEVERWe arrived at the Dunaflor at 3am, after lengthily flight delays and we were booked in fast and efficiently. this is spot on for a central base... self catering.. 20 mins sunny warm walk to maspalomas "dunes/beach" 10 minutes warm evening walk to playa de ingles.. everything you need for a great meal n` browsing "if you like browsing" taxi fare to either is only 2 to 3 euros "cool"forget ALL the negative write up`s it`s a great place...Just make sure you are not at the disco end... if like us ...you like it VERY QUIET later on....
