My husband me and our 12 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay. The view from our apartment was second to none; All the apartments have a fantastic view.. This was our first visit to Zante and we could not have chosen a better location. Unfortunately my husband was unwell which meant he was unable to get out and about much: a good reason to return. The resort is quiet which is how we like it. My daughter and I felt safe and ventured out in the evening and also explored the island using the local bus and taxis,where we met very many lovely people, local and tourists.
Spriros the owner speaks a little english and was very helpful. The food at his restaraunt was superb. The Achillion is very well maintained and has an excellent pool. Studios are large,clean with basic cooking facillities.
There were people from various parts of the world staying, as we booked independantly it would have been nice if there was a little more tourist information in english.
You can walk into old Alikinas 25 mins further 10 mins to the new part and 20 mins more to Alykes. We hope to return one day.

*The Achillion apartments are excellent*
all the rooms have lovely sea views and they are spacious and very, very clean. The pool area is fantastic, with sun loungers and parasols.
The restaurant serves first class food, from lunchtime snacks to la’carte meals.
And most of all the owner Spyros and his family are always on hand to ensure that you have a brilliant holiday.
I used to work in Amoudi as a holiday rep, and the Achillion apartments are my all time favourite.
*For an excellent holiday in beautiful surroundings then the Achillion is the place. *

A truly spiritual, relaxing, beautiful place. Excellent food, excellent service and a lovely view of the Ionian sea from each apartment.
Spiros is so professional and kind, nothing is too much for him. He seems to have a great understanding of English people and appears to know what we want from a holiday.
The food is of an excellent standard, and yet shockingly reasonable in price. The pool is in excellent condition and also, the people who go to the Achillion are also very friendly. The Achillion has built up a loyal clientbase for a reason.
I am returning this year, for the eleventh time. I would really urge people to give places like the Achillion a go rather than the standard package tours - this is such a relaxing and gentle place and highly recommended to those over thirty, given how tranquil it is.
