Great value relaxing week from Keenexplorer101
We got a great deal for this hotel - B&B for one week at £200 pp inc flights and I must say it was worth much more. The food at the hotel was great we travelled just before the main season started - it was quiet and the fre minibus into Bodrum menat we could join the hussle and bussle within half an hour. The rooms were basic but clean and the staff very healpful.

I dont think I could have found better value for money if I had tried! The hotel was amazing....service was brilliant....rooms lovely, and everything was just so convenient! There are so many different places to eat around the hotel if you dont want to eat at the resturant there (even though the place in the hotel is really nice!) There is a nice little place next door called Paloveda beach and Bar where the guys are so friendly,. and gave us free stuff nearly every time we went (bless um!) If you prefer something a little more classy, then there are many bars and resturarnts all along the beach, including a fish resturant, and various others! The best kept secret though is a place in the nearby town called Bitez, which translates to the Black Cat resturant (it is just by the taxi drop off point....turn right, and it has a huge black cat on top!) The food was the best I have had in ages, and it is SOOO cheap!!! You have to try it! Anyway....back to the hotel, the rooms are confortable and air conditioned. They are big enough, and the family rooms are a very nice size. The rooms we stayed in have all had hairdryers, which is nice, and the cleaners provided clean towels and tidied up every day! The watersports kept everyone amused for the week, and included windsurfing and sailing, with tuition, and kayaking all free, and available to take out. If you didnt like that, you can go out on fun rides, which are soooo fun, getting thrown around the harbour on an inflatable behind a boat! Hee hee!!!! If that doesnt do it for you, Bodrum town is just a short distance away, and there are day trips out as well, all really cheap! As far as the hotel is concerned, it was great! The pool is lovely, the staff are so friendly and helpful, nd the service is amazing!!! Would deff recommend!!! A++++++
Tamarisk - great place!!!! from stummy
The hotel is situated within an hour's drive from Bodrum. Hotel staff was great, helpful and friendly. They loved the kids. The creche was also great with the kids and my two loved going every time. The water sports facilities was also good, there was sailing, windsurfing, kayaks, etc. There's a pool (with a nice strecth of shallow pool for children) and the beach close by. Definitely a good place for a holiday.

I am 14 and I myself have just come back home from The Tamarisk hotel. I must say that its brilliant and have great up lifting people. The waiters are excellant and work all the time. The breakfast and all foods are Lovely. I am going again next year with my family and i hope i shall enjoy it once again!

Just returned from Tamarisk Beach Hotel, courtesy of Simply Travel of whom I cannot speak highly enough - the best holiday operator we've experienced. Apart from the other reviews we've seen it's worth mentioning the trips that can be organised to Turgetreis and Gumusluk, and the day's outing on a gulet (sailing boat) - not to be missed. And of course Bodrum where you can buy virtually anything up to midnight and find some marvellous tucked away restaurants - free courtesy bus organised several time daily from the hotel. We would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing holiday for all ages, and an active one if you're into watersports.

We recently had a second stay at the Tamarisk Beach Hotel returning for to the same place for the first ever time. We are a young couple in our 20's and 30's and would highly recommend it. We have stayed twice courtesy of simply travel.co.uk ( try booking on lastminute.com as on both occasions we got a two for one deal ). This company offer a free minibus sevice to and from the hotel so youre able to pop into the centre of bodrum whenever you want, roughly 20mins away, and enjoy the hustle and bustle. Restaurants are plentiful and very cheap. Try the posh one in the marina. You wont believe how cheap it is even if it looks expensive. The service the turkish people provide is excellent!! Back to the hotel then. The place is immaculate and the grounds are full of exotic plants and flowers that fill the air with amazing smells. The hotel staff totally go out of their way to provide for you. Its Absolutely superb. Down by the little beach under the trees there are hammocks for the guests which is all very romantic! There is a watersports school on site offering windsurfing and sailing which is great if youre into it. You'll have a superb time here!!

We have stayed here on 3 occassions and never been disappointed. The hotel is exclusively for Simply Travel guests and they are such a great travel company. The hotel is family run and service is perfect. The hotel is located on a small beach and is fairly quiet but there is a free minibus that takes you to nearby towns so you never feel isolated. Food is first rate and the whole place is immaculate. The pool is huge and very picturesque. It is quiet here and mostly for couples and families - many guests return every year and so do we. We have travelled extensively and this remains our favourite place to holiday I highly recommend it!
Don't Tell Everybody from lucyjames
Just returned from this Fantastic Hotel. Very well situated on the beach 20mins from Bodrum. Everything was nice about the hotel - rooms, pool area, restaurant and location. Great free mini bus service into Bodrum and even a late night return at 11.30 available at no extra cost. Please don't ask them to put on any entertainment as per previous review because we would like to return! We chose this type of hotel because it has no entertainment - nothing needs to change. If you want entertainment and discos why stay here you would be better in Bodrum with all the others!!! Travelled with Simply Turkey would only offer quiet areas _ LETS NOT CHANGE THIS.

The hotel is clean and the staff cannot do enough for you and are always friendly and smiling. The food is very good but the only downside of this hotel is that there is nothing to do in the evening. It would be nice to have some sort of entertainment about twice per week. It is excellent for anybody who enjoys watersports.
