Mourtero Villa

This is the third time I have visited Mourtero so you would think it would have scored more than a 3.
The villa is perfect - spacious, well furnished, air con in the bedrooms, great pool, plenty of terrace area with both sun and shade aplenty but- this year the property [and the island] were infested with wasps and it was impossible to sit outside without being stung.
The low score reflects the ineptitude of the rep, who was hopeless. The owner eventually came with some wasp traps 2 days before the end of the holiday but we never saw the rep once.
Anyone with young children should seriously consider the wasp problem as it really made the holiday a nightmare and if you react to stings then stay away.
Our only answer was to hire a boat on 2 days from nearby Panormos which at least gave us 2 days relaxation away from the problem.
Overall the island needs to get grips with the problem and GIC need to wake up to customer satisfaction.
One last thing... don't even get me started on the trip home, 18 hours travelling and the flight was only delayed 30 mins!!
A shame that a wonderful location and villa were spoilt by a problem with pests.
