What a disappointment - mouldy rooms & overpriced from ENGLISH-COUPLE
We have just returned from a week staying at the Aegean Suites in a sea view room. It was Ok if you like 3* type accommodation but for a hotel that is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World it should be ashamed of itself: It is by a busy coastal road so sitting by the pool was noisy - even noisier when the staff tried to drain the road noise out with loud piped/tinny disco music! Just back from a week at the Aegian Suites on Skiathos. We had a great holiday, but I have to say the Aegian Suites is not all it is cracked up to be. The staff were great - very helpful & friendly, and the pool very good. However the food was very mediocre and very overpriced. The rooms were disappointing (we had 2 suites on the lower level). The bathrooms would be put to shame by a British B&B circa 1980, classic partitioned rooms with no windows or ventilation. Unless you can get a reasonable deal I don't think this worth the price -... more

My girlfriend and I decided to book to Aegean Suites because its a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and we were looking for some kind of guarranty for the room and services. It was our first visit to Skiathos and thank god we booked there because not only the hotel was excellent but the other hotels we had in mind and which we visited during our stay were not up to our standards.
