The villa, Villa Donzell, was absolutely amazing and we couldn't fault it at all.
Unfortunately, we were mislead as to the location. We wanted to be able to walk to the beach etc as well as have the option to drive.
The drive was a good 10 minute to the beach, which doesn't sound too bad, but we were unable to walk to the beach as the walk would have been far too dangerous as we would have had to walk along a very busy main road, which didn't have anywhere for pedestrians to walk on. The walk would have also taken a good hour because of where the villa was situated.
It was also quite disappointing to find the locals quite unfriendly, whilst the hospitality of the waiters and waitresses etc was very good; we found many of the locals quite unfriendly and sometimes felt quite uncomfortable to enter their shops.
We also experienced a very uncomfortable situation when we sat down outside a bar, but had to go into the premises to order some drinks, but when locals sat down, they were greeted by a waiter/waitress, and their order was taken.
We wouldn't hesitate for one moment to stay at Villa Donzell again as it was absolutely amazing, but would prefer to pick up the villa and put it into a different location.
Our experience with Thomson was very good, but I do feel that much much more information should be provided to you when booking your holiday.
Unfortunately not every representative can visit every villa, apartment etc, but far more information is required in the brochures.
