We have just returned from this beautiful cluster of six cottage style apartments each with their own terrace. Each one bedroom apartment sleeps up to three people. I can honestly say they were perfect in every way, nothing was broken, missing, tatty or worn. Everything worked and was extremely clean in fact everything seemed almost brand new.
Each apartment was air conditioned (no extra charge) and each terrace had a patio table and chairs and was designed so that it was not overlooked.
The pool had a separate children’s section and there was a poolside bar. Parasols and sunbeds were provided once again everything was perfect. The pool area has the most stunning views.
The resort of Votsolakia was about a 10 minute walk round winding mountain roads that are not lit at night and therefore i would recommend car hire. Also the apartments had a winding dirt track on the approach to them.
For anyone with walking difficulties there are only about three steps up to each apartment and other than that there are no steps at the property.
Votsolakia has a good selection of tavernas and restaurants to eat in and offers a small selection of tourist gift shops.
To see the other resorts on the Island car hire is a must. We were there a week and drove the whole island about three times over.
The Owners of this property were very friendly and helpful and you get the most welcome breeze at this property which makes the heat more bearable.
I cannot recommend this property highly enough, its stunning and if your going there I envy you.
Apparently next year it will not be sold by Simply travel who are part of Thomson holidays but it will be sold by Sunvil, at least that’s what the rep told me. Enjoy !!!
