We stayed in the next door Villa called Mylos. Booked with Simply Travel and it was all very organised. Rep was waiting at Corfu airport and Taxis were pre-booked and waiting to take us to the Port at Corfu. The rep met us again at the port and issued our tickets for the boat to take us to Paxos.
At the other end the car hire man Babos who owns Isavros and Windmill had lined up the hire cars in Convoy. Just a small Island but the actual driveway to the villa is very steep.
A car is a must to explore the 3 towns on Paxos. Also in May Magazia had no restaurant open so we enjoyed most meals at night in the Villa looking with spectacular views of the sea and mountains.
Plenty of beach towels are supplied and loads of sunbathing areas around the large pool and veranda's.
Gaois is a short drive away and we parked at the new port and walked past the boats to get to the centre. A road opposite the pink church has the largest supermarket, everything you need, even a butchers counter is there. Gaois was having new pavement laid whilst we were there and should look smart when completed. The day trip boat to Anti Paxos can be caught by the old port in Gaois. You will spend a day on the beach when you get there so be prepared. The 2nd Bar on the 1st beach BBQ's fresh fish and this was a great lunch. Sunbeds and umbrella are all free as they are situated in the bars. Take the fast boat back as it is a great ride !
We also drove to either Lakka or Logos most days for lunch. There is a nice seaside bar at Lakka that serves homemade cheese pies. Great view too.
Very relaxing, laid back holiday. No stress. Quiet and some may say boring. We loved it and will be returning next year.
