Best holiday ever for our family with two children, aged 9 and 7. Beautifully situated apartment, with great view. Small but well equipped. Air conditioning worked a treat, lovely large balcony.
Very nice gardens, pool etc. Easy access (by car) to fabulous beaches. Nice village with good choice of tavernas and friendly shop. The owners of the apartments were very helpful, wife is Dutch and speaks perfect English, and booked a hotel in Sparti for a stopover when we wanted to visit Mystras.
We went with Simpson travel who were fine, but Eleonas have their own website and you can book direct. Flights to Kalamata at a very civilized hour and airport nice and empty. Would go again, only worried it wouldn’t live up to perfection of first visit.

We booked these apartments via the internet for our first independent holiday. Fantastic value we paid 43 euros per night for 14 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment with free air conditioning and a swimming pool.
Yiannis and Inge who own this accommodation are really friendly and helpful and are around to deal with any problems.
Our apartment was lovely and we had a huge balcony with a sun awning if needed, we also had a gorgeous view which looked out over Navarino bay, Yialova, Golden beach and the Divari lagoon. Some of the sunsets we saw were simply stunning.
Yialova itself is a small seaside village with 6/7 tavernas and a fab Italian restaurant. There are a couple of tourist shops and 3 mini-markets and the people are welcoming and very friendly. It's nothing special to look at but we loved it because it's so laid back, not commercialised as yet and there were hardly any other Brits there! There is a lovely sandy beach in Yialova but we spent much of our time on Golden beach and the superb Voidokilia which were only a 5 minute drive away and also Methoni 30 mins away.
In fact we liked it so much that we've booked to go again in July 2006 - Yiannis has been very helpful and has reserved us the detached apartment that we requested so our 8 year old will be able to make as much noise as he likes!
Overall Eleonas offers superb accommodation (apartments, villas and villas with private pools) in a completely unspoilt uncommercialised location and we will certainly be returning again and again!
