The hotel Levante club is supurb very large rooms with 2 showers great food and on par with any other Gold hotel i should know ive been to most of them! Bars and shops across the road and easy bus travel to the prom if you find it to far to walk.Please take no notice of bad reviews this hotel is upto Gold standard and we will go again soon!

The levante club was a cold and lifeless hotel certinly not a gold, the staff where none excistent and had no time for you, you had to que up at the main bar like you where in a super market and the lobby bar gave you great views to the reception where you could watch the receptionest on the phone with no time to serve the customers the rooms where of 2 star whith showeres that leacked and beds that where durty and the hotel had obvious signs of mould in the ceiling my wife and i went just befor christmas but had hoped to at lease be put in the christmas spirit but there was none the local rep on thomson side saw to that thankfully but it was to late for us the entertainment was spot on but you where put in a basement room as the main room was closed if you are a smoker then be warned you will have to stand out side in the cold and the rain unlike the spanish who got to stay inside and despite being told that spain is going though a worse recession than england the staff made no effort what so ever in fact they would say morning one day then ignore you the next as for the area its a grate place to go with plenty to do for all ages just dont go to this hotel unless you are into spars cause this one has a great one but that is all its got no games room and nothing else to do the lobby bar advertises snacks but can only do toasties so take you own food or be prepared to eat out the restaront is ok the food is good although we found it warm not hot if you are looking for some where to sleep then this is ok in a great area other wise stay clear or try a differant time of the year it may be differant you choose

All I can say is if this is the result of Thomson combining their company with First choice then a huge mistake has been made. What an abysmal holiday we have just had and what a complete waste of hard earned money. We have been using Thomson Gold holidays for just about 10 years and up to now have been pretty happy, no kids, no gangs of either men or women and usually the hotels ( although there have been a few that needed a bit of TLC ) are very nice and in a quiet location, food has always been very good except for this time. The Hotel Lavente Club was a nightmare, in the broucher brand new, well why then is there mould in the shower and bathrooms, shower cubical doors that leak, the only redeming quality is that the beds were quite comfortable and the room sizes were very good. The food was definitely not up to a Gold Hotel standard, the fact that you have to pay for a fridge is disgusting when you have already paid a premium for staying in a gold hotel. This hotel was supposed to be 4 star, well I've stayed in 2 star B&B in Blackpool that was better. Groups of football supporters who wore their football tops and shorts to evening meals, foul language and threatening behaviour not what you expect from Thomson Gold, it made the 10 days at this hotel feel like 10 months, not impressed at all. There was definitely not enough staff in the dining room, we ended up clearing our table ourselves half the time, when you choose to pay to stay in a Gold Hotel you expect it to be couples and like minded people who enjoy a higher standard of hotel, food, clientèle and staff, if I wanted to share my holiday with larger louts I wouldn't need to pay so much money. Maybe if you haven't stayed in a Gold Hotel Before this one might seem ok but for seasoned Gold users it was awful definitely not up to standard..

i have just returned from this hotel ...and realy not up to much... 4 star it is not and i will be writing to thomsons to ask what there gold standard means.Says in their brouchur that its on every one's lips...it is people cant believe they have paid this sort of money for this hotel...
day one ..arrive at 12 noon...room is not ready told to wait in bar for 90 mins with not even a comp coffee or drink... still day one i had upgraded my room however they got the dates wrong so i had to pay another 15 euroes for their mistake.
upgrade room part of the deal is water every day this only happens when you ask for it....bottle of wine on arrival we got red we wanted white called room service to get it changed you would have thought i had asked for the sun to be turned off.. 2 days it took and then only with the help of a very good rep. to get it opened .as there is no cork screw in the room they told me "I" needed to go down to the bar (15 floors) so the bar staff could open it for me.
FOOD...quite good
ENTERTAINMENT...very poor(silly pool games and second rate acts)
LOCATION...bars across road realy good ..BUT quite a walk to the beach and main night life.
STAFF...only seems to be about 6 or seven running the hotel service quite slow in bars ..BUT VERY GOOD in dining room.
ROOMS...quite clean..BUT dont upgrade your room not worth the extra money.
OVERALL......STAYED IN BETTER

me and my partner stayed here for a week and it was clean the staff were very friendly and helpful the location was ideal for the beach and bars and restaurants all in all great value for money i would reccomend these apts to young and old young families no complaints whatsoever a great holiday *****

An outofdate hotel, needs revamping, seriously. However great location, friendly staff. Food is very poor. Becomes tedious over 2 weeks. The spa is rather expensive but worth a visit. I won my voucher from the animation games :) At least benidorm was not overly crowded as I had heard before my coming over. beaches are very clean, well equiped. It is right next to Benidorm palace, a nightclub. Should check it out once you're there.
Wat indeed made our visit worth it was the Saturday nite entertainment. a chap named Jon Silver. with all he had to offer, made us party. We wish him all the very best. such a nice guy and amazing singer.
I'm interested to see how thomson will handle this hotel's upgrading to gold. As it stands, be prepared to complain. They should give over the entertainment to Jon Silver. That will help!

We booked this holiday based on a visit in January 2008. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the food. The breakfast was good but lunch became boring very quickly. The salad was repetitive and the hot main courses too. Dinner was even worse, the meat was cheap and disappointing. It appears the Chef thinks we eat chips with everything. For hot sweet there would be just custard available. Sometimes bread and butter pudding with no custard or fresh cream. In fact fresh cream never appeared. On occasions we were the first in the dinning room and the food was still cold. Although the food is a big disappointment, the rooms are very good and kept clean. The staff were great. Overall try somewhere else first if you want a 4*

a good hotel overall. well situated. good crowd helpful staff. rooms clean, nice pool. food unvaried, but lots of restuarants around. entertainment quite poor except for the saturday night with Jon Silver. great fun, lots of dancing. the beach is close and clean. transport easily available. lots of tachy shopping around.

I have been to benidorm many times and i have stopped in different hotels but when i stopped in the levante club it was fantastic it is soo clean and spacious...
the pool is a great size and really refreshing as the water is freeezziing!!
but then again it keeps you cool.
it is not that far away from all of the bars and resteraunts it is about 20 min walk to the beach... the food is fantastic as i am a fussy eater but they have al different options... the only thing is that the food is repeated quite often but is still good. the staff are very hard working and kind ... especiall at the reception even when they are on the phone they still kinda listen to you. i think it is good for kids with the games area and you dont allways have to stay in the hotel they is the beasch and shop it is relly good. if i could rate this hotel higher than ten then i would its apsolutly fantastic.... !!!! keep it up levante club !!!!!! your great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been to the Levante Club hotel twice now. A lovely hotel and good food. The rooms are very spacious and we had no problems with noise. The pool is a good size and plenty sun beds. The staff were friendly too. The only draw back is the rubbish entertainment, but we had to laugh. The bars near the hotel are fine if you dont feel like venturing into town which can be a bit rough as some of the benidorm holiday makers leave a lot to be desired (namely, the brits). A taxi rank is situated outside the hotel so its really convienient and theres a supermarket over the road. All summed up, a great holiday.
