Hostal Bahia Hotel
A family-run hotel full of charm & located on the fringe of the beach. Being selective doesn't mean being elitist, as the traditional charm of the real Mallorca is not confined solely to luxurious manor houses with appropriate price tags. The Hostal Bahia appealed to us simply because it is family run and well cared for, offering a friendly welcome in modest but charming surroundings.

We went here in 2005 which was a while back.... but I just wanted to say this is the Best place I have been so far. Me and my Partner have travelled a lot in the last 2 years with our work and for time out. Since going to the Bahia we have been staying in 3-5 star hotels on bed and breakfast up to fully inclusive finding what we think is the best holiday to go for.
We have never found a hotel as friendly as the Bahia as yet and the reason I’m writing this is to tell you why, also me and my partner are going here for are honeymoon as cannot find nothing we like. I am 27 and he is 26 years old and we like the more relaxing holidays not the noisy sort of holidays.
The Bahia was the most peaceful night sleeps I have had on holiday, there was lovely evening entertainment so we did not feel the need to leave the hotel in the evenings. We also had evening meals in the restaurant every night as well as going to the evening bbqs which my boyfriend love sitting outside by the bar eating lovely bbq food. As much as we loved the hotel, we did go out on a reps night out and to a horse ranch which where Both wicked fun!!!! We also went to the beach which took about 2-5mins to get to depending on how much we had eating for breakfast on how long it took to get there.
When you got to the sea front, there were lots of shops and restaurants where we ate lunch and never once did we have anything bad to say. The views on the beach where magical and I honestly feel I have wasted a lot of time travelling around trying to find something better when I should just stuck to something I liked first time around.
The hotel, location, the peace, the staff and evening entertainment where really the main things we loved about this place.
Oh and some have said about the Breakfast not being that great, well its only breakfast and not a five star hotel so you get what you pay for and for me and my partner we thought this was very good price for what for you get :O)
When we go here again I will go half-board as we loved the food, but going out to the beach at lunch time is really nice. Also I would try to stay for 10days as a week is not enough.

This was the second year my husband and I went to the Hostal Bahia.
We found the accommodation very good. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. The chambermaids cleaned the room to a very high standard
Most of the waiters/bar staff were friendly although one or two would have done better to smile more.
We are looking forward to going back in 2008 - the view from the balcony is excellent.
The location is perfect for a 'getaway from it all' holiday - very relaxing.

Me and my partner spent 7 nights at the hotel Bahia; we found the breakfast a wide choice and quality excellent.
The Hotel is set next to the beach and a stone’s throw from the sea. We found it clean and rooms comfortable but a fridge would have been a nice extra.
All staff where very pleasant and helpful and always polite.
Try to get a front sea view room; the view is beautiful day or night.
Not much for children unless they like building sandcastles.

We spent 2 weeks at the Hostal Bahia in September 2006. We had a sea-facing room with balcony - wonderful views.
Room was basic but reasonably comfortable, although the loo could have been cleaner.
Breakfast was disappointing - some good stuff, including lots of fresh fruit, but bread and croissants were stale and mass-produced - shame when the shop next door sold lovely fresh, chewy baguettes every day.
As for the coffee, there was an instant-powder machine in the corner of the room which produced this artificial, over-sweetened gunk which was horrible beyond belief - this in the land of cafe con leche.
The breakfast waitress could be charming, but could also be quite the reverse at times, especially when they ran out of things such as spoons and you asked her for some new ones.
This hostal has the potential to be very good indeed, but we won't be back unless they improve their act at breakfast time.

We visit Puerto Pollensa every year and have stayed at various hotels or apartments and the Bahia was the best yet.
We stepped straight out of the hotel onto the beach at the Pinewalk. It was a wonderful setting, outside by the waters edge for breakfast every morning. The breakfast itself was excellent, everything you could think of from, cereals, fruit juices, all kinds of fruit, pastries, bacon, eggs, baked bean, sausages, tea, herbal teas & coffee...only problem was I that I don't drink tea, coffee or fruit juice, I have water every morning for health reasons and I had terrible trouble getting this natural commodity.
One waitress, Natalie was very efficient, extremely helpful, she always managed to get me some but the other waitress simply refused! The hotel was very clean and the rooms were immaculate with satellite TV. The food was very good.
There is a bar which is only used for waitress service, it would be nice to have a few stools at the bar for residents to relax and have a refreshment after a long day out because the tables outside are all set with tablecloths for dinner at this time. One more problem was that one particular barman (who never seemed to smile) didn't serve a full pint, there was a quarter pint of foam at the top of every glass and he seemed to take offence if you asked him to top the pint up properly.
But we will certainly go back, we had a holiday to remember, the hotel was wonderful, it's location is brilliant, apart from one waitress and one barman, all the staff, including the reception, maids, night porter were really friendly, efficient and helpful.
