We hired Villa Son olivaret in Cala N' Bosch with James Villa Holidays for 2 weeks.
The villa was beautiful, much more than we could have imagined. Location wise we were 2 doors away from 3-4 restaurants and shops and only 2-3 minutes walk from the marina and all the restaurants. Because of the time of year about a quarter of the restaurants had shut down but it still meant we had a choice of at least 20-25 that were still open. There was only really one or two bars and most restaurants wind down at about 10.30-11.00pm, but that suited us. The beach was a 10 minute walk away and very nice, especially for little ones. There are also many beautiful beaches to visit around the island if you hire a car, well worth it for us.
Overall the resort was lovely and the villa exceptional. If I went again I would try to go a little earlier in the year as the pool was very cold and the general temperature only about 23-24 degrees. I would recommend this to families with young children and anyone just wanting to relax and take things slowly, not for clubbers at all.
I will be booking again to Menorca for this year with the same company but will be trying a different resort for a bit of a change.
