My husband and I stayed at the Pia Bella for the first time this year and we are so glad we did - we had a wonderful time. What an excellent hotel. Our room had a view of the mountains and the gardens and it was just great, clean and nicely furnished. There are 2 pools within the large spacious garden area with sunbeds. We found it difficult to get a sunbed around the pools as people tended to put their towels on the sunbeds and then not appear for a while (sometimes not until lunchtime). However, we were quite happy to sit elsewhere. We found the staff to be extremely polite and helpful and Sarah (not sure how her name was spelt) who came around every day to ask if everyone had any problems was exceptional. We ate in the hotel and found the food very good. We met several people who had visited the hotel a few times previously and we can understand why. We had a great holiday and this was our first visit to North Cyprus. We look forward to staying at the Pia Bella again.

My husband and myself stayed here for two weeks along with our daughter, son in law and grandson. We couldn't fault it in any way. The staff were unfailingly polite, helpful and friendly, especially towards Jack, nothing was any trouble, they were an asset to the hotel. The rooms and surroundings were spotless, well maintained pools and gardens. It was lovely that we could eat all of our meals outdoors, the restaurant had plenty of shade and fans, so all in all it was very comfortable. The food was excellent, Lovely buffet breakfast, with plenty to chose from, it was fascinating watching the chef cook omelettes, crepes, pancakes etc. There was always plenty to chose from at lunch and dinner if you didn't want to leave the hotel, and if you did, there was the Blue Rose across the car park. All in all it was a wonderful holiday!
I wish the Pia Bella many years of continued success!!!.

Super hotel Staff are so friendly and helpful Garden and swimming pools are lovely
Food is superb
Location could be better but once you are in the gardens that does not matter
We are in the new block and the rooms are lovely. No lift yet but that should be in in a couple of months. There is also an indoor pool going to be constructed under the new block
We have been in bigger more expensive hotels but no where so friendly and welcoming

My husband and myself have just returned from the Pia Bella and we must admit we ejoyed it very much. Nothing to fault really and other comments have said it all.
The surrounding area however, leaves a lot to be desired. The pavements are in a discraceful condition and great care is needed to avoid a nasty fall.
Eating out was rather limited, although we did find Molly's Place nice and handy with prompt service. Probably the best chips in Cyprus and her home made soup is delicious to say the least. Well worth a visit.
Overall, we found it to be a nice relaxing holiday. No lager louts here. Just a nice refreshing break..

We had a two week stay at your hotel, on a b&b basis.
What a pleasure to be offered a drink from the bar free of charge to soon as we entered reception.
Every one of your staff could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Zehra, the lady who comes around to make sure everthing is ok really knows her job.
Thankyou,we will be back.

My husband and I have just returned from a two week stay at the Pia Bella hotel and cannot fault it at all. The staff were very friendly, helpful and genuine. The hotel and rooms were spotless, and the pool and gardens beautifully maintained.
We had friends visit us at the hotel and my husbands parents joined us for the second week of our holiday - they also loved the hotel.
We were on a bed and breakfast basis but opted for half board for the last five days, and we were not disappointed. The breakfast spread was lovely with something for everyone.
We understand that there is extension work going on, but were not bothered by it at all.
The rooms were cleaned daily and the cleaning staff were friendly and helful also.
This is a wonderful hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. The other guests at the hotel were very friendly and we made some really good friends there.

We stayed at the hotel from 25/06/08 to 09/07/08. We could not fault the service or the accomodation. The food was good and plenty of choice. The staff were excellent and the services of the troubleshooter, Sarah, solved any problems or queries we may have had. An excellent hotel which we would strongly recommend. The only criticism we had was the number of cats alowed to road the grounds and the restaurant, although this was not helped by the well meaning guests who insisted on feeding them.

we have just got back from a 3 week stay at the pia bella hotel in kyrenia, and it is a lovely hotel with 2 swimming pools and lovely gardens, the food was good always hot and cooked fresh. the staff were very freindly. the room was always kept clean with fresh towels every day, there were casinos everywhere but as for actual nightlife we never found any music bars or traditional belly dancing, but there were trips to book thru the rep for cyprus nights. also there are no beaches nearby. but if you are looking for a nice restful holiday i do recommend the pia bella hotel.

In my opinion this is not a 4* hotel. We had a jacuzzi bath in the room which didn't work and if you filled the bath above the jets it flooded the bathroom. We were supposed to be in a superior room but didn't have a good view. There was no lift in the block we were in and no handrail on the first flight of stairs. I was also shocked when I asked for more tea bags and was told 2 per room per day only. These things aside we had an enjoyable holiday. The staff are excellent, especially Mustafa the new barman, he's a real comic. The 2 pools are lovely, very clean and not too cold. The gardens are also beautifully kept. Breakfast was good. Bacon on Sunday only. The indoor pool and the extension with more rooms are unfinished, due to lack of funds we were told. Hopefully they will employ more staff when the hotel gets bigger. Would visit this hotel again but not in the block we were in.

This was one of many returns back to kyrenia and this time will be the last! We had arranged with the hotel for a taxi to collect us from the airport. On our arrival the taxi driver was waiting for us, which was great. However when we the driver escorted us to the taxi we was utterly shocked! There was a row of new Mercedes parked up and in between was this old black Mercedes with black curtains which looked like a funeral car! During the drive to the hotel the front seat was not bolted to the floor and every time the driver break your pulled off the seat would bolt back and forward, the suspension was shot and made strange noises. (We paid £55 each way for this service). This car was entirety unsafe!
On arrival at the hotel Cervit greeted us warmly, and told us to go sit down for comp drinks and our meal. Our bags where taken to the rooms while we sat and enjoyed our food.
Our rooms where spotlessly clean, and every day our beds where made and we had fresh towels, which is normal for the pia bella!
However the smell that came from the basement was ghastly! So every time we took the lift we had to suffer this smell, which was worse with the heat.
This hotel has a high standard, yet the atmosphere has totally changed! from our last (a year ago) has totally changed! You are no longer able to take your own food into the rooms; this includes milk to make tea or coffee. The fridges in the rooms have milk in them, which is far more expensive than in the shops. (which you expect) but everywhere you look there are signs informing you that no food your drink is allowed on the hotel grounds! We was on a half board basis, so sometimes we only wanted a small snack for lunch, so we would purchase items at the local shop and sneak them back into our room. (We was not the only one's)
Across the road from the Hotel is a restaurant (Blue Rose) it is owned by a British lady and Turkish man. My son and husband ordered adult sausage and chips which cost
20 YTL (aprox £9.00) the amount that arrived on the plate was embarrassing! My son counted only 18 small chips! Hastened to say we never returned!
You are no longer able to have any friends or family to visit you at the hotel, ( again signs everywhere stating this) which we found very difficult! The reasons for our visit to Cyprus was to catch with our friends and family! Last year they where made welcome and was able to seat and eat with us at the hotel.
Most of the waiters are over friendly and would do anything for you. Nothing was too much trouble, yet one or two of them was very off hand! Ali was extremely rude! But Hakan, mustafa, Ahmet and Ozman are really friendly and will have a good laugh with you.
One night the tables in the restaurant had been rearranged with a table for 20 or more set alone. We were even told where to sit, which has never happened before! We wondered why and after a while the Owner and his family all arrived and sat at that head table. Once again the atmosphere was really bad and everyone was running around like headless chickens! We ate our meal and left as quickly as possible as we felt it was a private family party!
I have stayed at many hotels and I have never experienced this before! I understand that Cyprus people are very family orientated, but this was way beyond!
Remembering paying guest are not permitted to have their family or friends on hotel grounds!
We had paid good money to stay in this hotel and we were treated poorly when the boss man was around and this also happened when other Turkish visitors sat and ate. They had preferential treatment over the staying/paying guests!
The entertainment in the hotel really requires sorting! Elvis who has been singing there for years! Some guy on an organ who has not got a tone in his body! The best night there is the ‘Cyprus night’ that was really entertaining and every body really enjoyed and was able to get up and dance, the waiters even dressed in traditional costume.
The beaches are really dirty; we found needles, jagged meat tins and broken bottles.
We visited the bella pais abbey on the mountainside, which has wonderful views, but if you look down at the cliff side it has become the local tip!
We took a B-B-Q in the hilltops and again the rubbish around was horrendous!
We visited st hilirons castle and on the road was a black Labrador that has been hit by a car and had obviously been there a few days! The sight was horrific and upset us terribly!
Northern Cyprus was once a beautiful place but it is becoming filthy and totally spoilt!

This is our eigth consecutive visit to the Pia Bella Hotel. Which in turn speaks for itself.
From management down to room maids the staff could not be more helpful. You feel that your holiday is as important to them as it is to you. Nothing is ever too much trouble, hence our return year after year.
Surroundings are excellent. Food is superb. Rooms are spotless. The location within a mile of Kyrenia is second to none. Harbour, restaurants and cafe are within manageable walking distance.
We will continue to visit and have made many friends over the years who also return like us time and time again for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Once again made most enjoyable by all of the staff.
Many Thanks Pia Bella.

An excellent hotel in all respects. Very clean. excellent food, staff very helpful and friendly. The gardens and pool areas are kept immaculate. The Piabella is more suitable for couples without children however children are made most welcome. We have stayed there twice and are planning a third visit. The dining facilities are excellent and the food although limited choice is very good. The hotel is situated on a main road about 20 minutes walk away from the harbour and shops.

a most enjoyable holiday with friendly and caring staff whom nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was spotlesly clean with maid service daily, the food, served in a spacious dinning room or on the sun terrace, was excellent with choices that catered for all tastes. The overall cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted the pools & patio's first class and gardens were carefully manicured. Most of the guests we spoke to said they had returned each year which is something we would consider ourselves. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday

My parents and I have just come back from a very enjoyable stay at the Pia Bella, Kyrenia, a lovely hotel with very friendly staff.
On arrival we were made to feel extremely welcome with a welcome drink. The service at this hotel is second to none, nothing is too much trouble for any member of the staff they all seem to have a smile on their faces and really enjoy there jobs.
I would definately recommend anyone staying here if they want a relaxing break away from it all.
The pool areas are beautiful, very peaceful with relaxing music playing, drinks and food on hand as and when you want them.
You had a wide choice of food at breakfast and the BBQ lunch was excellent. I shall definately be going back for a second visit.
