Location could be better but once you are in the gardens that does not matter
We are in the new block and the rooms are lovely. No lift yet but that should be in in a couple of months. There is also an indoor pool going to be constructed under the new block
We have been in bigger more expensive hotels but no where so friendly and welcoming

Eating out was rather limited, although we did find Molly's Place nice and handy with prompt service. Probably the best chips in Cyprus and her home made soup is delicious to say the least. Well worth a visit.
Overall, we found it to be a nice relaxing holiday. No lager louts here. Just a nice refreshing break..

" My husband and I have just returned... "
Submitted By: Mrs C YavuzWe had friends visit us at the hotel and my husbands parents joined us for the second week of our holiday - they also loved the hotel.
We were on a bed and breakfast basis but opted for half board for the last five days, and we were not disappointed. The breakfast spread was lovely with something for everyone.
We understand that there is extension work going on, but were not bothered by it at all.
The rooms were cleaned daily and the cleaning staff were friendly and helful also.
This is a wonderful hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. The other guests at the hotel were very friendly and we made some really good friends there.

" This was one of many returns back to... "
Submitted By: Mrs Not HappyOn arrival at the hotel Cervit greeted us warmly, and told us to go sit down for comp drinks and our meal. Our bags where taken to the rooms while we sat and enjoyed our food.
Our rooms where spotlessly clean, and every day our beds where made and we had fresh towels, which is normal for the pia bella!
However the smell that came from the basement was ghastly! So every time we took the lift we had to suffer this smell, which was worse with the heat.
This hotel has a high standard, yet the atmosphere has totally changed! from our last (a year ago) has totally changed! You are no longer able to take your own food into the rooms; this includes milk to make tea or coffee. The fridges in the rooms have milk in them, which is far more expensive than in the shops. (which you expect) but everywhere you look there are signs informing you that no food your drink is allowed on the hotel grounds! We was on a half board basis, so sometimes we only wanted a small snack for lunch, so we would purchase items at the local shop and sneak them back into our room. (We was not the only one's)
Across the road from the Hotel is a restaurant (Blue Rose) it is owned by a British lady and Turkish man. My son and husband ordered adult sausage and chips which cost
20 YTL (aprox £9.00) the amount that arrived on the plate was embarrassing! My son counted only 18 small chips! Hastened to say we never returned!
You are no longer able to have any friends or family to visit you at the hotel, ( again signs everywhere stating this) which we found very difficult! The reasons for our visit to Cyprus was to catch with our friends and family! Last year they where made welcome and was able to seat and eat with us at the hotel.
Most of the waiters are over friendly and would do anything for you. Nothing was too much trouble, yet one or two of them was very off hand! Ali was extremely rude! But Hakan, mustafa, Ahmet and Ozman are really friendly and will have a good laugh with you.
One night the tables in the restaurant had been rearranged with a table for 20 or more set alone. We were even told where to sit, which has never happened before! We wondered why and after a while the Owner and his family all arrived and sat at that head table. Once again the atmosphere was really bad and everyone was running around like headless chickens! We ate our meal and left as quickly as possible as we felt it was a private family party!
I have stayed at many hotels and I have never experienced this before! I understand that Cyprus people are very family orientated, but this was way beyond!
Remembering paying guest are not permitted to have their family or friends on hotel grounds!
We had paid good money to stay in this hotel and we were treated poorly when the boss man was around and this also happened when other Turkish visitors sat and ate. They had preferential treatment over the staying/paying guests!
The entertainment in the hotel really requires sorting! Elvis who has been singing there for years! Some guy on an organ who has not got a tone in his body! The best night there is the ‘Cyprus night’ that was really entertaining and every body really enjoyed and was able to get up and dance, the waiters even dressed in traditional costume.
The beaches are really dirty; we found needles, jagged meat tins and broken bottles.
We visited the bella pais abbey on the mountainside, which has wonderful views, but if you look down at the cliff side it has become the local tip!
We took a B-B-Q in the hilltops and again the rubbish around was horrendous!
We visited st hilirons castle and on the road was a black Labrador that has been hit by a car and had obviously been there a few days! The sight was horrific and upset us terribly!
Northern Cyprus was once a beautiful place but it is becoming filthy and totally spoilt!

" This is our eigth consecutive visit... "
Submitted By: Mr B PartnerFrom management down to room maids the staff could not be more helpful. You feel that your holiday is as important to them as it is to you. Nothing is ever too much trouble, hence our return year after year.
Surroundings are excellent. Food is superb. Rooms are spotless. The location within a mile of Kyrenia is second to none. Harbour, restaurants and cafe are within manageable walking distance.
We will continue to visit and have made many friends over the years who also return like us time and time again for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Once again made most enjoyable by all of the staff.
Many Thanks Pia Bella.

Advice: Big unfinished construction site-lots of estate agents flogging off Christian's homes. Depressing.
Activities: Churches converted into brothels and casinos in Lapithos.
