we had a great holiday here untill the last day we found bed bugs in our apartments we reported this but the hotel manager and firstchoice was not interested they made out like we was daft. we was in c block which was nice. check all electrical equipment before letting your kids near it as my partner got an electric shock from the hair dryer which once again the hotel was not bothered about. this place has alot of good points but sometimes the bad take over

Just got back from our second holiday at sea club!
Last year we stayed in `A` block and had a fantastic time. This year we were allocated the dreaded `D` block. I was mortified as i had read all the bad reviews on the internet and had spoken to people myself last year, about how awfull it was. What a load of RUBBISH. My family had a fantastic time, and i would even ask for D block next time.
Everything is so close, the pool area was fantastic for my kids, 10, 5 and 3 year old.
The appartment was fine and the first choice staff were brilliant! Very helpfull.
The entertainment staff were fantastic, very good with the kids.
Did notice that the prices had gone up alot from last year but that was to be expected.
If you have booked your holiday with first choice you will be staying in either C or D block as first choice no longer own A and B block. But in my experiance both blocks are fab, i would prefer them both to A and B.
At night it is really quiet, and the shop sells everything you will need.
Thanks sea club for yet another fab holiday!!!

We have just returned from our 2 week stay at the Sea Club Apartments in Menorca and we all had a great time. Our children are aged 5 and 1 and there was always something for both of them to do from the fantastic kids club and creche to the mini disco of a night, although we didn't get to see the shows of a night as they didn't start till 10:00pm and the kids were in bed at 9:30.
The apartments were cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding and there was everything you would need including an iron and ironing board, the air-conditioning worked really well both rooms and the views from our apartment were fantastic (block B rooms 127-134 ).
We did eat at the two restaurants on site and found them to be fine but expensive, as it is only a short walk into the town we ate mainly there.
I would recommend the Sea Club Apartments to families ,the pools are great for all ages and the entertainment staff and kids reps work really hard.

Just back from SeaClub Aparts a few weeks and had a lovely time. We went as part of two families and had apartments next to each other in C Block ground floor. The maid service and facilities were very very good. Whilst the apartments were small, they were adequate. Also the reps from First Choice were excellent in organising emergency flights for myself and partner to fly back to Ireland and also they're help for bringing and organising us to come back out to our holiday again was second to none. Thank you so much for your kindness and helpfulness at that time.
We had two teenage girls in our party and they had a ball with both the pool and the nightly entertainment. I would highly recommend the Seaclub Apartments for both young families and young teenage families as they're seemed to be plenty going on for everyone.
Would definitely go back again!

me and my family have just returned from our stay at sea club it was fantastic and very clean we also stayed in D block and had no problems atall, the maid service was great and regular, i went with a party of 11 peaple and we all would like to go back again next year, the entertainment was great for the kids and the adults and the children realy enjoyed the kids club, all the pools were clean maintained very well.

We stayed at the Sea Club complex this year and it was fantastic !!! We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked to go again next year ! We also stayed in the "D block" but we thought it was the best part to be in . Ok so it was approx 5-8 Min's walk from the main buildings but to be honest that's what we preferred because it was very quiet at night . The entertainment at night was first rate for all of the family , a different theme each night , and there was plenty of room to sit down .
We had a Studio right beside the pool which was good , but for next year we have booked a apartment with a bigger balcony , the studios are IMO ok for two people . There was also a shop on site which sold everything that you needed although it was slightly expensive .
The beach was the best i have ever seen ! perfect for families because of the very shallow sea , you can actually walk past the boats that are moored and the sea is still only waist high ! it takes around 20 mins to walk with a 5 year old !
So all in all spot on , please dont let the reviews on this page put you off about D block , its the best block , always plenty of room in the pool and no need to "reserve" a sunbed with your towel , we have requested Dblock for next year .
P.S , 7 days isnt long enough so we are going for 10 next year .

Had read mixed reviews on The Sea Club apartments before we went. We were allocated our apartment in 'C' block. This was in a good location and the apartments were clean. There is a supermarket on site which has most things required for a self catering holiday. We had maid service several times a week. All the local staff were very friendly. We had no problems with water or electric. We were on holiday with our 2 children aged 14 and 10 and they also had a lovely holiday. The 10 year old had swimming lessons with Helen who is absolutely wonderful with all the children she teaches of all abilities. Would also like to say how good Daniel (entertainments guy who is employed by Sea Club) is with everyone. He organises things and asks if people want to join in but is not pushy. Would definitely come here again.

What a brilliant time we had. We had a ground floor apartment in Block A approx. 5m from the pool. The accommodation was clean,adequate,hospitable. I heard numerous complaints however from British holiday makers who were sited in "Block D". I must say that it appears that they divide the complex into various nationalities Blocks A & B seem to be occupied by Scandanavians & Germans (with the exception of about 3-4 families, us included, who were British and Blocks C & D were only British.
We ate out most evenings and would recommend Restaurant Sanfora, opposite the taxi rank.
The beach was immaculate and the people very friendly.
Would very much return to the Sea Club provided the house us in Block A again

Just home from block D in the sea club Apt. No water or electricty for four nights running. They siad it was the local company that was at fault with the generator they had supplied. We booked with folcan and were put under the First Choice Reps, what a waste of space they are only spoke to Ammie who would not help you to warm herself and Mikey who just came up with excuse after excuse ie I am only with this block a week then I was on a day off yestherday etc etc. No effort to adress the problems we were having. The resort it self is very nice and will kept but block D is by far the worst and most dangers for small kids. You have to walk across a road to get to any of the pools and the play ground is not feneced in kids can run onto the road. I will not be going back again while first choice only use block D. Thats if I every use falcon again.

just returned from the sea club alcudia. weather great,place fantastic,shame the same could not be said about the sea club. stayed in D block if your lucky you may have electricity.if you are very lucky you may have water.you do get a maid service but don't get to excited you will do more cleaning than them.The pool is its only real saving grace although it is the smallest of the 4 and not the one pictured in the brochure as that is part of A block and mainly used by the german guests.we will not be returning to the sea club or using first choice again as when ever there was a problem to be sorted(which there was many) the rep would come up with a lame excuse or run for the hills and hide.

Me and my family have just had a wonderful week in Sea Club, Alcudia!!! It was our first time to Alcudia, and i would highly recommend going there... The entertainment for the kids was fantastic. We stayed in D block and had no problems at all... pool, shops, bar, cafe and all we could wish for was right on our door step!!!

I have just returned from 11 wonderful nights at the Sea Club Apartments in Alcudia and all I can say is that I would ask to stay in the same Block D again. We had everything so close, shop, pool and a short stroll to the entertainment in the main block (which was good fun) and a ten minute stroll to the beach. We traveled from Ireland with Falcon and First Choice and myself , my wife and my two sons aged 7 and 3 had a fantastic time.
All the negative press about block D is rubbish and was the fault of the holiday company in block D last year. Falcon and First Choice have done wonders with the place and the staff and reps couldn't do enough to help.
As I sit here in the rain I thank Sea Club for happy memories and a wonderful holday.

Journey
From Palma Airport to Alcudia is approximately 45 minutes to 1 Hour.
Sea Club Apartments
We are a family of four. There was my son (10), my Mum, husband and myself. The Apartments are ideal for a family of this size. It is very young family orientated, kids have great fun here. The Apartments are basic and very clean. The employees are extremely polite and helpful. The Apartments have all the basic needs for a self catering holiday. The downside was the air conditioning is quite poor and there is army of ants in your apartment - crawling all over you!!! You are near canals, so there could be a problem with Mozzies - However, we were all lucky and had no problem with them.
We stayed B & B and the food choice was very good.
Entertainment
We only attended one night of entertainment on the site and that was the Abba night. The staff work really hard to entertain you - It's not in my opinion spectacular, but you can see how hard they work.
All the swimming pools are vey nice and clean - Plenty of kids squirting water at you. It is absurd the amount of people that put their towels on the beds very early to reserve them - The amusing part is, they have to water the grass daily and the staff don't give a darn if your towels get wet or not :) Don't moan if this happens! It clearly states not to reserve!!!
There is internet access on the site, supermarkets, Cycle hire.
Alcudia
A lovely lovely place to be - We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here. The beach is spectacular - Clear blue warm sea and fishes swimming around you. The sand is very soft white and stretches for 7 miles. There are mountains around you...Palm trees galore. From SeaClub, the beach is about a 5 to 10 minute walk.
Eating out
Some places are very expensive to eat out. There are plenty of Restaurants so take a good look around. Olas is very vey nice but for four of us, the meal and drinks cost 100 euros. The Brittania Pub is very reasonable and very nice meals there. The difference is 60 euros from Olas! 40 Euros. Bugs Bunny is very nice and also reasonable. Shanghai Garden (Chinese) is very reasonable and very nice - 12,00 Euro and eat a much as you want.
Shopping
There are ample of shops but all very repetetive. Go further in to grab a bargain. Alcudia Port is packed solid of lovely shops.
Recommend
Submarine vision Boat Trip is lovely. If we had booked with First Choice, it would have been alot more expensive. We booked via the Tourist Shop and it cost 17 Euros for Adult and 10 Euro for kids. We went on the 2 hour trip and it was worth every Euro. We stopped for a bit and swam out in the sea - gorgeous.
Would I go to Sea Club again?
Yes, if they did something about the ants, and gave us better Air Conditioning. Great for familys.

Just returned after a one week stay with our 12 year old daughter. We were allocated the dreaded 'D' block. As we did not arrive until the early hours of sunday morning, and it was dark, we found it impossible to find our apartment. There is a distinct lack of signs around the complex making it difficult to find your way around. Please be aware that you need to put down a deposit for the use of the controls for the air conditioning unit, something that is vital when you arrive during the early hours of the morning in very uncomfortable heat. This would have been helpful to know before arrival. On the plus side of things it was very clean, although the apartment was sparse and the restaurants - food, service etc was good. It is excellent for families with young children but i would not take older children as it is definitely geared up for young children.

Just returned from sea club appatments 0n 15 of july 2008 with my partner and two boys one aged 5 and one aged 1, Went with an other couple and there daughter who is 5, Who had read up on the internet about the bad reviews about D block, And there being a busy road near D block When they arrived and found out that they was to be in D block they told us of the bad reviews about it. The apartments was fantastic very clean thay was cleaned 4 times in a week bed cloths was changed every two days, Air conditioning was great kept the room cool when coming home in the evening when it was to hot. it was free all you had to do was to put a 10 euro desposit on the air con remote which you got back at the end of your holiday. A block was only a 5 mins walked wihch was not bad. The beach was about 10 to 15 mins walk but was well worth it, sunbed and parasol was 4 euro each which is for all day. Pool was cleaned out every morning just as the sunrises and floor scrubbed around the pool too. Entertainment in A block in the evenings was great for kids and adults prices for drinks was reasonable at the bar. Had most of our meals around D block paying around 21 23 euros for 4 people to eat and drink which i thought was quite good, service was good and friendly helpfull. The reception people was great very helpfull with local knowledge.as i dont understand all the bad reviews did not find any problems with d block it was that nice we are going back next year for 10 days so all of the bad reviews that people have put skip by them and take it from me it was a great hoilday.
