Atlantis Hotel Reviews
" beach holiday "
Submitted By: BROMLEYfood was poor often cold and if you managed to find a cup a breakfast you had to hold on
to it as they were like gold dust, dinning room was very busy.
For a 4* I could not believe they did not supply beach towel and unless you wished to
wear a wrist band and drink beer from plastic cups you had to pay for sun beds at the pool
and on the beach this was a first I have never heard of this anywhere else.
If thay wish to keep the 4* they will have to sort out these problems.

Submitted By: Miss J GrumbridgeMy friend and I stayed at the Atlantis Hotel for 1 week all inclusive. We stayed in a self catering apartment even though we were all inclusive, with no proper lighting, it was dark and dingy and very basic. Towels were meant to be changed every other day however this didn't happen, we even had to buy our own toilet roll! We had a narrow back door into the room with no french doors. I was diagnosed with Bronchitis on my 3rd day from the air conditioning. I also got food poisoning from the food in the restaurant that I only ate in once. I accidentally smashed a glass in the room and returned to my room later that day to find the maid had swept it under my bed. The restaurant was very hot, no air con, lots of flys, big queues and little choice of food.
We spent in total £600 on food outside of the complex!!! on top of paying £600 each to stay their all inclusive. Many guests contracted ear infections from the pool and you could not get a sunbed past 10am. Staff very rude and refused to serve a drink in the bar at 11pm after the person next to me had literally just been served.
It was the holiday from hell that I will never ever forget.

Submitted By: Mr M DicksonThere is no air conditioning in any public areas. The staff are so rude and unhelpful. The food is so bad that you need to eat out and the restaurant is full of flies.
Lambi is a dying resort that is half an hour’s walk outside of Kos town. There is very little shops and even fewer bars.

Submitted By: Mrs J BarrellThe food was fine but the restaurant was so crowded and hot it was unbearable to eat there. This is not a 4* hotel!!!!!!! As a all inc guest you were treated as a second class citizen. The only positive was the hotel was kept clean.

Submitted By: Mrs J Kennard-barrellThe restaurant is unbearable what with the heat, flies, and lack of staff to clear the tables.
The staff are some of the rudest people I’ve ever met. Only one bar is open during the day to all inc customers. You can't get a hot drink except at breakfast and 5pm at the pool bar.
The swimming pool was small. The hotel holds up to 900 guests. There is just not the space or staff to deal with them. There is next to nothing for children to do.
If you like the idea of paying for meals and drinks at home, then being treated as a second class citizen in the hotel, book now.

Submitted By: Mrs J BuntenRoom and the rest of hotel was very clean. Pool and entertainment excellent, the water aerobics each morning is such a laugh. Very few English at hotel but that didn't bother us.
The walk into Kos town is a bit longer than we had been told about 30 mins. All in all a great holiday.

Submitted By: Mr P ShooterIf you stay here you will not be disappointed, but DO NOT book excursions through your tour operator; book independently with a local operator, (there is one twenty yards away). If you want to explore this wonderful island, hire a cycle for local trips and either a motor scooter or car for further a field. Wherever you visit on Kos, make Zia a priority, you will not be sorry. the people of Kos are amongst the friendliest it has been my pleasure to meet.

Submitted By: Miss L MeadeThe room was very clean and the amenities there were great. Very child friendly but single people don’t let this put you off.
The male staff were a bit odd - grumpy almost but not enough for it to impact on your stay.
Enjoy - would recommend to a friend.

Submitted By: MJ ScottThere are bars and restaurants 2 mins away and all the way on the road in to Kos town. The apartments are clean and the maid service is very good, two large pools and a 2min stroll for a dip in the sea. Entertainment in the complex is standard and done in several languages. If you don’t like people from other countries stay away as this is an international hotel. We have always found other visitors very friendly and the staff excellent. My daughter loves it hear (11 now) and there is lots going on around the pool if you want to join in.
Downsides, the beach at Lambi is a bit scruffy and small, but overall we love it hence our third visit planned this year

Advice: ok but a long walk into kos town with a 7 euro taxi ride back.
Activities: paradise beach nr. kefalos is a must.
