Room not available upon check in and promised available the next day for the rest of our 7 night stay
Room offered for the 1 night standard with 2 double beds and bugs all over the room were free !
Staff friendly and accomodating, when moving us to another standard 2 double bed room, for which when we returned from dinner, noticed the door lock was busted and stuffed with toilet paper. In lue of being able to lock the dead bolt and security chain from the inside, and going to move in the morning to our promised king room with sofa bed, we waited it out.
Next morning, dragged our luggage around to find out we would be assisgned a room only after cleaning was completed. Although housekeeper stated one was ready on the same floor a few doors down, we were told from the front desk, we had to wait.We proceeded to Disney World and upon our arrival back, we were given the last king room available, as we were somehow, not on the list of first come first serve. Room did not allow for air conditioning to be adjusted, as the unit itself was located somewhere else and the front desk would control it and the corner, pie shaped room was very tight for 3. Once again the friendly accomodating staff, just very forgetful, finally moved us to a king room with sofa bed, no bugs, door locks in working order, and air conditioner and controls located in the room. Just when you thought you where safe, we were awakened by hotel staff at 8:00 am to inform us that our keys to our room, had be erased and that another set had been issued. Was not sure what was going on until, a new renter tried minutes later to entered our room as he hand been rented out the room, as we were not on the list! Finally housekeeping came to check the room as it was going to be rented out! Spoke to front desk upon leaving for another Disney day to ensure we were on the LIST for room 525 and staying there until Sat. Low and behold, upon our arrival that evening housekeeping had not ventured to our room, as we were, you quess it , NOT ON THE LIST! We finally made THE LIST and had smooth sailing after that and we were given 1 night comp. Advice to all, make sure from the moment you check in, see your room first, and then make sure YOUR EYES see YOUR NAME on ....................................THE LIST.

Impressive hotel with excellent facilities. The porticoed entrance is approached between 2 huge fountains. Both swimming pools are set in gardens full of palm trees.
Our room was enormous, with a 6' bed, fridge, digital safe and fantastic air-conditioning. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful.
Room-only is all you need in Florida, where you can eat out so cheaply. The IHOP 5 mins walk from the hotel (what, walk in America? People did stare, I agree) serves mountains of fabulous food for next to nothing, and never closes!
This hotel is perfectly placed for all the Disney parks, but was over 30 mins drive from Universal and Sea World.
If you want to pretend you live in Orlando, visit Celebration (think the Truman Show with Jim Carrey) and shop in Wal-Mart, where the salads are kept moist by a mini-waterfall and the toy aisles are like nothing on earth.
When you get tired of the theme parks (sounds unlikely, but you will if you are there long enough) visit Mall at Millennia. This new mall has leather sofas to relax in after drooling over Tiffany, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Jimmy Choo.
Have fun, and say hi to Mickey for me!
