Sol Tordos Mirlos Hotel

Kids enjoyed holiday, plenty for them to do. Pool a bit small and crowded. Entertainment average. Close to beach although as fully inclusive didn’t really want to leave hotel.
Room a bit squashed as it was supposed to be for 2 people but the put bunk beds in for the kids. If there’s 4 of you its cheaper and faster to get a taxi to and from airport. Close to waterparks and marineland which I would definitely advise going to.

Overall a fab holiday. The rooms were very clean, fresh linen and towels everyday. The food was fantastic, you could not fault it at all and the service of the waiters/waitresses was so quick to clear the table was very impressive.
The only small gripes I have is the fact there is only one A.I card between the family per a room, we found this most annoying as the card is also used to switch on the electric in your room so if a family member wants to go to the bar to get a drink and wait for you downstairs then you are left with no electric/fan in the bedroom. Grrrr!
Also found some of the bar staff abit grumpy! Lifts were on the small side.
This little things didn’t spoil our holiday though, and all in all in was a great hotel.

This is my sixth year on going to Sol Mirlos I travel many other places from Dominican republic, Canada and all over main land Spain, and found this hotel is great in all ways where shall I start, If you have kids WOW this is the hotel for you.
When I first came here my children didn’t like any kids club. I sure couldn’t make out why all three of my children had joined the club then I found out why. They treat your children like little adults and that makes them join in with all.
There’s loads to do for the older child the clubs are great for all ages up to 17 years most kids hate going with parents but when they are there they forget about there mates back home and enjoy themselves from the time they get there to the time its comes to go home. I have spoken to many parents who goes there each year because the children love it so much.
There are two pools so if ones to noisy get to the other one where it’s more relaxing for you. The hotel if fenced in so the children can't easy get out. The younger children have the great park there all closed in playing on sand they would have a wonderful time just playing in there.
What about there food Well that’s a WOW you are spoilt for choice the food is wonderful I would say its there most pride and joy there’s lots to eat you will never find it hard what’s to eat and there’s always plenty of it plus there dessert are wonderful there’s too much to choose from. Its a very clean tidy hotel where there always cleaning going on a FAB HOTEL.
I would say its on the quieter side of Palma Nova short walking distance to plenty of shops, bars and clubs please go there and you will be telling friends and family when you get back home to visit the hotel Sol Mirlos /Tordos . GET BOOKING

We have just returned from a fantastic weeks holiday at the Tordos, the rooms are cleaned everyday, the restaurant area is spotless... The tables are cleared within seconds of being vacated. The food is excellent and varied... The menu is changed every day, the bar area can be busy, but the staff are quick to serve and all thirsts are soon quenched!
We booked this as an out of season, budget deal and have no complaints whatsoever...enjoy your holiday!

The location of the hotel was excellent, there was only a 5 minute walk to the beach.
There was a wide selection of food, which you could eat at virtually any time during the day, as if you happened to miss breakfast, lunch or tea, there was also snacks provided.
The pool facilities were good, but we found as it was a Fred Flintstone theme hotel, there were lots of children there, so we preferred to go to the beach.
The evening entertainment was okay, but it catered for children up until 10pm.
We found the rooms quite small, but we had a lovely balcony view over the pool.
The only complaints I could really have had about the hotel were the lifts, as there were only 2 for the whole hotel, and we found we often had to wait a while.
Overall, we had a lovely holiday, and I would definitely recommend the Sol Tordos, especially if you have young children.

Well what can I say, It was the best holiday I have ever been on, everything about the hotel was fantastic, food great, rooms clean and maid service fantastic, Entertainment was for all ages and the reps really put their heart and sole into performing. My Daughter was in the 0-4years group and she loved every minute of it, the staff in her group were marvellous.
We will definitely be booking up again to the Mirlos hotel next year and I would recommend it to anyone who has children!!

I could not fault the hotel especially for kids. Lots of fun for the grown ups too. The meals were very good and all the staff were very helpful.
The only down fall were the lifts, there were only 2 for the whole of the hotel so most of the time we used the stairs. Luckily enough we were only on the third floor. So be prepared for this.
I am like a big kid myself and I joined in with all the activities during the day and on the night. I have booked up to go back in 2006 with my girlfriend and daughter so watch out for me ha ha!! Chris from Sunderland.

This hotel was excellent especially for children. It’s not far from the beach and Magalluf. It was a very clean hotel with staff cleaning rooms every day with fresh bed linen and towels.
The pool is a bit small for the number of people that the hotel can accommodate but don’t forget u can use the Sol Mirlos pool next door. The kids clubs where really good- I couldn’t get my 4 yr old out of baby rock club. The food was good but if u are a fussy eater like my daughter and I, we lived on chips, ham and toasties (you do get fed up after a few days!).
The lifts are a bit small and there is only two of them! Overall, I really enjoyed. There is entertainment every night that the kids loved too. I would definitely go back in a year or two.

The rooms are excellent, however most of the satellite channels are in Spanish. There are only 2 lifts, which can hold 6 persons in a 1000 person hotel.
The food is very good, but the coffee is horrible. The entertainment is for all ages, but certain large groups are inconsiderate, occupying 3 tables at one time.
Overall a good family Holiday, beware of the optional trips, these are not good value for money.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with kids. The best holiday I have had in a long time. Loads for the kids to do, food great, rooms are clean and all have air conditioning. The reps are VERY FRIENDLY and try their best to get everyone involved. There is always something going on throughout the day, pool games, etc. You really could go on holiday and not leave the hotel. GREAT FUN!
