My partner and I visited Manchester for the weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. There is plenty to do in Manchester, the ones I would not miss are the print works including the film works. Be sure to visit the iMax cinema, its worth every penny.
The hotel we stayed in is one of two 5 star hotels in the city. I would recommend staying there as it has a fantastic central location. The staff were particularly helpful in the health club but the reception let my rating slip due to their lack of welcoming and friendly nature.

I stayed at the hotel with my partner on New Years Eve.
Firstly, when we arrived at the hotel, the car was taken from us and parked safely and did not see the car until we departed on the Monday - New Years day.
The reception area was outstanding for first impressions, along with the very helpful reception staff.
The leisure facilities were also of a very high standard along with the rooms, we had a great view of Manchester.
As for location you could not get any closer to the city centre. I have stayed in various hotels in Manchester and after staying in the Radisson, I will not be booking anywhere else again.
Partner and I have booked again for the weekend after Valentines Day and really looking forward to it.
