Princess On Portland Hotel

We stayed in room 507 for one night. It was on the top floor of the hotel and we had amazing views of Manchester. The room was perfect. Plenty tea and coffee making items. The decor was beautiful. The bathroom was gorgeous. The show screen did leak badly but we had so many towels that it didn't matter. The room service was very quick. I had my shoes polished for free in 15 minutes just before I went out. Check out time is 12pm on a weekend which was perfect for us. The breakfast was delicious. A proper 'Full English' and we were asked how we wanted it cooked. The continental breakfast buffet element was fresh and tasted great. The hotel is located very close to the Gay Viilage and the Chinese Quarter and is within easy walking distance of the shopping area and Spinningfields. We parked in Q Park Piazza which is right across the road from the hotel. It cost £17 for 24 hours. We paid at the hotel on check out as you got a small discount if you paid via the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family and really want to stay again. I loved my first visit to Manchester and I think staying in this hotel helped make it a very special weekend.
