Malmaison Leeds Hotel

My partner and I spent a night at Malmaison in Leeds last weekend and loved every minute! I can honestly say that you'd have to be extremely picky to fault such a wonderfuly charming hotel. The atmosphere is young, cool and stylish. This was our first experience of Malmaison, but it will definately not be our last. From the time that you check in until the time you leave, you are made to feel special. We have stayed in quite a lot of hotels, but none can match the service; nothing is too much trouble. The food is of excellent standard and very well priced. It seems standards aren't slipping at all at Malmaison. The service is pitched just right - and eating alone one is made very comfortable. It is friendly and smart, and the food this time was really very good indeed.

Having scoured the internet looking for a last minute room at an affordable price, I plumped for the Malmaison. This decision was primarily based on the good reviews on this site. I was not disappointed. I paid £79 for the night and arrived at 11.00 hrs. (I allowed 3 hours to find the place due to other reviewers finding it difficult to find !). We stayed here and had a really chilled couple of nights. The hotel isn't easy to find on arrival but once parked and checked in we were central to the shops & sights. Room lovely, shower exceptional, gym small but functional and the bar was a great place to spend the evening so much in fact we didn't bother trying out the Leeds nightlife apart from a meal at Bibi's close by which I'd highly recommend. I can't wait to try another Malmaison soon to see if they are as good.

We had a fantastic stay at the Malmaison, the food was excellent, as were the staff. The room and its facilities were very good, the only downside was finding it, we passed it several times before realising it!!

Good old Malmaison -- like a favourite CD you know what you're gonna get and the Leeds one is just as good as all the others. Same trendy decor, excellent rooms, comfy, firm, big beds, nice bathrooms, useful toiletries, ultra-cool TV and sound system (even with a Mal-mixed CD for you to borrow). I always stay at the Mal when in Leeds and never regret it. It's in a great central location, near the station, shops, the excellent Bibis and some of Leeds' more traditional pubs. Lovely room, great service. Excellent atmosphere in the bar in the evening. A nice place to stay.

We stayed at the Malmaison on a Sunday night when visiting our daughter at University. Our room was well equipped & very nice with a large comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant which was ok but service not great. The main problem was finding the place. Even on a Sunday afternoon with not much traffic in the town centre and with an A - Z of Leeds, it was a nightmare. On arriving in Leeds on a soaking wet, grey Saturday, it was such a pleasure to book into Malmaison. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Our room was decorated immaculately, there was even a cd of relaxing music playing for us when we entered the room. The bar was buzzing at night and we even spotted a few celebs!! Our friends booked this for us to help us get over post-honeymoon blues, it certainly worked, I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again.
