Holiday Inn Express Leeds East Hotel

I stayed two nights while on business in the area and the hotel was quite easy to find. The reception was friendly and helpful and the room clean and modern. The most irritating feature was the door locks - operated by a swipe card. It always needed 5 or 6 attempts to get into the room. The first time I thought the card wasn't working so I had to return to reception. We stayed here for a wedding at nearby Oulton Hall, the room was fantastic and of a very high standard. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for a hen weekend. We found the reception staff very helpful and friendly, especially looking after our luggage after we checked out. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located around a twenty minute walk from Leeds City Centre. The only downside was the poor choice for breakfast; which consisted of toast, a small range of cereals and fruit with the addition of buttery scrambled eggs and sausages.

I have stayed at this hotel when it was Innkeepers Lodge, and WOW how the hotel has been revamped!! Its gorgeous, lovely friendly staff, rooms are lovely. I was so shocked with the transformation.. I would definatley recommend this hotel to anybody. Me & my friend are staying again on Friday!!! And very modern,from the tv to the decor, its just FAB!!!!!

Had an overnight stay here and it was very clean and the staff were lovely. i have stayed in 5* hotels that were not as good as this one. Will definately stay here again.

As the title says what a little gem!!!!!! If you need a room in that area do not be afraid to book this hotel. It was easy to find, we traveled from mid-wales. On arrival the receptionist was exceptional in checking us in. Very pleasant and helpful and smiling, what a change. Our rooms (booked 2) were as expected but had everything we needed for our stay (3 nights). This place has now become an Innkeepers Lodge. My wife and I were on a 3 for 2 deal,which was excellent value for money. The room was clean quiet and had sky television. A continental breakfast was included, also a free copy of the Independent, even on Sunday. Next door is a Toby where you can get a reasonably priced meal. Three good pubs are only minutes away, and 6 miles away near Castleford, is an interesting activity centre with a hugh outlet village next to it. All in all highly recommended.
