Holiday Inn Express Leeds City Centre Hotel

When I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, Leeds, I must admit I was disappointed. First of all, the second floor where we were staying, smelt of vomit. It was pungent. I can understand the hotel staff trying to disguise the smell by spraying it with some deodoriser, but to our dismay, this did not help. Hence that made our stay somewhat disappointing. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast fine. The location, well, being called Leeds City Centre, we presumed it was in the 'centre'. The walk into the city centre is about 20-30 minutes.

have to agree totally with the first review of this hotel. The staff were lovely, really friendly and the rooms were clean. But if you are looking for a quiet relaxing time forger it, we did not get any sleep whatsoever due to the amount of young people staying in this hotel (they were on 3 floors of the hotel) all we heard ALL night was banging doors, shouting, music till all hours and running up and down the corridors. So if this is your idea of fun then go for it if not then i would definitely not recommend this hotel.

I've been in loads of Holiday Inns and this is one of the better ones. It's comfortable, clean and has friendly staff. It's also inexpensive and handy for the town centre. I've stayed in Holiday Inns that haven't been as nice as this, it does exactly what it says on the tin - It's a Holiday Inn Express.

Stayed for one night (Sunday). Hotel comfortable, clean, well appointed and very quiet (not many people staying there). No food available in the evening but the staff were happy to arrange for food delivery from a wide choice of takeaways. There are some restaurants within walking distance but you could get very wet if it was raining!! All members of staff we encountered were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful - above average service!

This hotel is good value for money and the rooms are clean and of the typical standard of this kind of hotel. It is very, very busy over the weekends with big groups of young people coming to Leeds either to party, hen nights, stag nights, etc. This means that you can not expect to get an early night here, people are coming and going at all times and there is some noise from other rooms. If you are going to be partying too then it won't be a problem!! Breakfast is frenetic so if you want to find somewhere to sit and relax a bit get up early. The staff deal with this all very professionally and the hotel is well run in order to deal with the clientele it is serving.

Good hotel, location and value. Clean with helpful staff and a late bar.

Great location. With free car parking. Friendly & very helpful staff. Good value for money, extremely clean rooms.
