A soulless room for the night!
The public areas were not too bad, the bar area had good comfortable seating. Staff were friendly but the place did seem to be run by teenagers.
The room was dirty and drab. There was no lighting in the corridor to the room. Bathroom was adequate with a large shower area.
It did not feel like a very safe area, there is however a leisure complex down the road which includes cinema and restaurants.
Coming back to the hotel, by car, after 9pm caused a lot of parking problems.

Well we were not informed of a desposit having to be paid on arrival of 50 pound, which as we are three 18 year old students, we could have done with that 50!! the breakfast was poor calling a fried breakfast 'sausage egg and beans' ... was cramped too.
Anyway, once returning home a phonecall indicted that the 50 pound deposit would not be returned back to us as a result of Substantial damage- 'mud and blood on the sheets and the towels being wet' the mud and blood was infact fake tan- which is easily WASHABLE and not worth 50!! and as for the towels being wet, do i have to justify that? (the shower overflowed so the towels were used to protect the flooring)
After this i wrote an email to the hotel complaining, and so did my dad. and guess who receieved a reply? my dad.
I think this was parently due to discrimination, they would not charge the extra 50 deposit if we never had alcohol in the bin.
We even lay and sat on towels to protect the bedding- what was the point.
Never returning to such a strict hotel, they could of at least identified what is damage and what isnt.
Oh, and the drinks and food was ridiculously over priced for such a cheap, family orientated hotel.
