We have just returned back from are two week stay at this hotel October 2007, luckily we were in a group or I would of wanted to come home the first few days.
The entrance to the hotel leaves a lot to be desired the hotel is very clean, friendly staff.
The food leaves a lot to be desired as there is no choice. You can have chicken or meatballs everyday in different shapes and sizes, and if you’re lucky and you get there early when the restaurant opens, the food might just be hot because every day we was there it was cold.
Be careful when going to the restaurant when it’s been raining as you may well break your neck, because it doesn’t seem to matter that the floor is flooded from the rain.
The beach is a no go area as there is no sand as it is full of boulders and rocks, if you have gone to Turkey for the sun, don’t stay at this hotel as there is a mountain range behind the hotel and guess what? that’s where the sun goes down not long after 4pm.
There are three lovely pools one with slides but beware these are fresh water pools and are freezing.
The entertainment in the daytime is great if you are French, German or Russian, and in the evening the lack of enthusiasm from the reps is appalling, if it rains at nighttimes there is nowhere to go because all the entertainment is open air.
Overall I would not go back to this holiday even if it was free.

We had a fantastic family holiday. The food was excellent, with so much to choose from. The pools are fab (get out early to see the sun rise and to claim a lounger).
The staff are friendly enough, although they are more geared up for the French/ Italian/ German tourist.
The local shop keepers were friendly, even more so when they found out we were English.
The evening entertain was slightly dodgy, but we made our own...beware the local Raki.

My friend and myself have just got back from a second visit to The Paloma Beach Hotel in Kemer, well what can we say apart from the second time was better than the first...
The place is just so clean, fresh and tidy every where you go it is clean. The bedrooms are always clean and fresh.
We met some of the waiters and bar staff from when we went in May, and it was so nice because they recognised us. It was just brilliant, and guess what, yes we have booked again to go in May 2008.
The only downfall was again the entertainment, it was rubbish, but hey there was the Italian guy who was in charge, and wow he blew us away. We have read some reviews and I don't think they were at the same hotel, because we had no problems at all, and as for the food, it was always hot, plenty of it and when you are dealing with so many guests what do people expect, the Ritz dining?
All in all it was fab second time around, and I hope the third time will be just as great. If any of you out there get the chance to go, just go because you will have a brilliant time.
To sum it up, once again, BRILLIANT. 10/10 and more...

Stayed at the Paloma at the same time as Mrs J Quirk and "Dottie"....What a pair! Real characters and really nice people ( never a dull moment).
We arrived at 5 am because of the daft flight times so it was dark and we didn’t have a clue where we were.
Our room was nice with two balconies, clean, small though but for the time we were there no problem at all. The next day when the sun came up we realised that we had the best positioned room at the hotel. We over looked the pools and bar from one window and the sea from the other which was about 30m away!
The grounds are immaculate and were cleaned at 7.00 am by at least 5 staff. The waiters are very keen to help sometimes too keen as the other reviews read, but none the less very polite and helpful.
The food was great, the omelettes are fab as well as the fresh waffles made every morning as you watch.Lisa my wife is a very picky eater but found something to eat every day and was very happy.
The bar staff are a great laugh, they work very hard about 14-15 hours a day but never complained at all. We met some great people there and we made our own entertainment because the animation team though they worked very hard, the standard of the night time show was terrible...lots of miming and bad dancing.
Most of the people there were foreign but they were great and no problem at all...the beach is very stony but was cleared every morning.
The shops are ok but have limited stock. Get the local bus to town its cheap and cheerful, but expect to crammed in.
We booked two excursion through Debbie who was lovely and very helpful. We went to the Ottoman Turkish baths and it was fantastic we were there for 4 hours and it cost about £15 it would cost about £150 back home. Then we went to Perge and Aspendos. it was fab, the roman ruins are amazing.
Would we go back? Yes no problem at all. We got the deal online for£370 for the two of us.
We drank more than that at the bar.
Cheers, Rod and Lisa.

My best friend and myself were a little bit concerned about the holiday we booked to Paloma Beach after reading the reviews, so we went with an open mind, thinking if its rubbish then we make the most of what there is.
Well, when we arrived what a surprise! Lovely hotel, very clean, staff very friendly rooms were very clean, we had the most fantastic time ever.
Food was great, lots to choose from, staff were so friendly. The only downfall there was, was the entertainment, what rubbish, if you were French, German or anything other than British it was fine, but us Brits felt a bit left out, but hey being British, we made our own entertainment, we had such a brilliant time.
We have booked again to go in October 2007, also booked to go again in May 2008. Would certainly recommend any body to go to this hotel, would rate it 10/10.
Fantastic!

My best mate and myself went to The Paloma Beach in May 2007, well what can I say except what a fantastic time we had.
I had read a few reviews about the hotel, and I must admit I was a bit worried. Well nothing at all to be worried about, the hotel was clean, it was tidy, the staff very friendly, the only complaint we had was the entertainment, what rubbish.
If you were French, German or Russian it was ok, but hey we are British, who needs the entertainment, we just made our own entertainment!
We had such a brilliant time we have booked again to go in October, and also May next year.
We would certainly recommend this hotel to anybody, go there its fantastic.

My friend and I were at this hotel last week, May 2007, we were looking for a cheap holiday.
We certainly got much much more than we bargained for. The weather was not too good the first week, with chilly winds.
It certainly did not stop us enjoying ourselves. Everyone was so friendly; the animation team were brilliant, especially Oliver.
The staff were brilliant, always helpful. The rooms were spotless for the whole two weeks. The rep could have been a bit more helpful though.
Dottie and I would certainly go again, we are aged 68 and 60, and we would recommend this holiday to people of all ages.

Hotel nice, food good. Gardens beautiful. Pools good. Entertainment total loss!
Things to do none. Shops few and beach hard going.
Go on this holiday if you just want to lie on the sunbed and drink.
We got bored after 4 days and now they have disco which goes on till 4 in mornings at the hotel next door outside disco very load.
Would not go again.

Well, where do we start?
We can't guarantee the weather fair enough, we only had 2 sunny days all week but we did expect to be sitting inside on an evening to watch the evening entertainment.
But no, there is no indoor area to watch what is very loosely termed "entertainment" (the only indoor area is a dining area with approx 30 tables and a quiet room seating approx 30 and TV area seating approx 15).
We sat with blankets around us trying to keep warm whilst watching 2 French guys dancing to 1 CD night in night out. YES!!! The same CD each night - but no I lie... Saturday night we had a treat - Madonna tribute and guess what - yes you guessed, the same 2 guys dancing to Madonna CD.
The only bar open was outside so you had to brave the cold to get a drink and supposedly, not take them into the hotel.
The highlight of our evenings, apart from going to bed early to put the heating on to warm up, was our nightly card game - best entertainment around.
There is of course satellite TV; great if you're fluent in French, German or Turkish... or the one English Channel, BBC World.
There was nothing around for us to visit outside of the hotel, as it is a very quiet resort, as previously mentioned by other holidaymakers, which together with it being the start of the season didn't bode well for our holiday.
The food was OK, repetitive but the morning omelettes were amazing!! More vegetables please and less chips! BUT the biggest let down off all was the super keenness of the waiters to clear your plates, literally once you have put your knife and fork down.
If they see you have one mouthful left, they will literally circle around ready to pounce.
One night no word of a lie it took 1 second for the plate be taken from putting the cutlery down. Also, when you go up for your next course, they clear the whole table, drinks cutlery the lot.
They reach over you whilst you are eating and according to the manager, this is very respectful in Turkey. NOT TO ME!!!!
Be warned, I was told off for using a large glass for an orange juice by a waiter who tried to take the glass from me, saying for lager only. A hotel or concentration camp?
I felt like a naughty schoolgirl by disobeying him and carrying on pouring the orange into the "lager" glass.
Room satisfactory, rep Debbie ok, the hotel grounds beautiful, pools nice but no way is it 4 stars.

Despite reading a couple of negative reviews, we arrived at the hotel with an open mind, and from the outset, we could tell that the poorer reviews had little foundation.
Yes there was a multinational collection of holiday makers, but this just added to the enjoyment of the two week stay.
The rooms were maybe a little smaller than some places you go to, but at the end of the day, when you`re on holiday, you only use the room for sleeping and showers.
All of the staff, from gardeners, waiters, chefs, bar staff, maids, cleaners and managers did their very best to make sure that we had everything we wanted, and the way we wanted it.
If your one of those people who wants an all English menu, all English entertainment and an all English speaking hotel, then stay at home or go to Blackpool.
The food was first class, the staff were constantly cleaning and tidying up which included the managers if they had seen anything out of place.
The entertainment team had everyone (who wanted to) up on their feet or in the pool doing all manner of games and exercise and dance routines. All the entertainment is held outside, and as the evenings can be cool it is wise to take at least a jumper.
If you`ve never been to Turkey you must go to this hotel, its 4 star + all the way.
Our group of six were aged 61, 38, 35, 14, 11, and 10 years of age, and none of us had any disappointment on this holiday, so much so, that we didn’t want to leave, and are already making preparations for our return.
Thank you Thomas Cook for finding this location, and an even bigger thanks to ALL of the staff at PALOMA BEACH HOTEL, BELDIBI.
Lastly, and by no means a criticism or down side to the holiday, Turkey is a Muslim nation, and as such they don`t believe in washing in still water, this means that the sink in your room has no plug, so pop one in your suitcase, just the same size as your bath tub has. Don’t worry though baths there do have plugs.
Laundry service means just that, the maids will do your washing, which is not cheap, so take your own washing powder.
Don`t let that put you off, I promise you that if you stay at this hotel, you will have fun fun fun and yes even the Germans, French, Russians, Dutch, and all the other nationalities that were there joined in with the Brits be it drinking, dancing or playing games.

I booked my holiday at the Paloma before reading the reviews here and I have to be honest, once I read a few of the reviews I was quite concerned about staying here.
However my worries were completely unfounded, this hotel was lovely.
We arrived at the hotel about 6pm and were dealt with very efficiently and politely by the reception staff and were shown to our room.
The room we had was on the ground floor and though it did not have a lovely view (we looked onto the tennis courts) it was quite comfortable, clean and tidy. We discovered though that our balcony door would not lock and I went back to reception to report this.
However while I was away a passing member of staff noticed my husband opening and closing the door and came over to ask what was the matter. By the time I returned the door was fixed! Very prompt service.
The room was kept very clean by the staff all week and I even had flowers placed on my bed! Nice touch!
The restaurants and bars are outside (though there is a small part of the dining room inside). I can see how this would be a problem in colder months but it was fine In April.
The waiting staff were all very efficient and friendly and though we saw a few cats they were never a problem when eating.
The food was perfectly satisfactory, there was plenty of choice and everything was clearly labelled, anything you weren't sure about the chefs were pleased to explain. The food was hot and all freshly made; the omelettes in the morning were particularly good!
During the day the 'animation team' was fantastic in encouraging the guests to take part in all the activities though they were never pushy and left you alone if you just wanted to sunbathe. Some of the group I was with really enjoyed the dancing and aerobics and football tournaments organised.
At night the entertainment was slightly limited but this was due to the season just really beginning, we were told that till May they were only doing a rolling programme for a week so some were repeated. It was not to all tastes though, consisting mainly of miming to songs. This is similar to a French/German TV show.
The team were all very enthusiastic and couldn’t be faulted, Jo and Olivye were particularly hard working and we enjoyed their chat throughout the week.
Overall we loved our time here; it was the perfect mix of relaxation and activity.
The only piece of advice I would give is that if you have laundry done at the hotel make sure you get a receipt when you pay for it, we forgot to get one and had to pay again when we checked out. Not a problem, it was only a few pounds but something to remember!
Debbie was our rep from Thomas Cook, she was great with us and the other guests, dealing with queries and comments very professionally, and she has been the rep in Turkey for over two years and knows a lot about the area.

What a start to married life, went there on Honeymoon and it was a shambles from start to finish. Got put in a dodgy taxi at the airport, me and my wife were the only passengers and the driver became upset when we refused to swap an english £10 for 10 lira. After having a 30min drive by the Turkish version of Lewis Hamilton our bags were thrown onto the pavement.
We had requested a package of wine and fruit as Honeymoon package for our room and got 2 bottles of luke warm water instead, on speaking to Debbie the next day about the sink hanging off the wall in the bathroom we were told the problems would be sorted, we got the package after all the hotel was really busy and they forgot (4* hotel remember).
Now the food if you are into meatballs and chicken then go here, selections were poor and repetitive not to mention cold or reheated and got steadily worse as this was the final week for the hotel; waiters were like vultures hovering over the tables and don't start about cats in the dining area.
All inclusive drinks is beer, vodka, gin, brandy or whisky like the food not a great selection (4*hotel remember). Entertainment is utterly utterly shocking, both me and my wife went on stage in a game BRITISH vs GERMANY vs FRANCE, can you guess who won! We were told that it was RIGGED so the FRENCH won because there was mostly French in this week. This is not a British loving hotel, saw several near boxing matches between the countries.
Pools are major hazard just like the beach and the pontoon. To sum it up if you come from the UK think before booking here and keep an eye on the sleazy waiters. I WOULDN'T GO BACK FOR FREE. Debbie should try sorting out problems rather than selling day trips. ps after the week the sink was still hanging off the wall.
