This was a truly excellent hotel and stay, the hotel is the only 4 star within the city walls, and is right next to the city centre making it perfect for a shopping spree!
The rooms are well equipped and of a high standard.
We ate out at one of the many nearby restaurants, but did sample the bar, which stocks a wide range of drinks, but is the usual prices for the Hilton chain!
The Breakfast is excellent, wide selection of hot food, cereals, and fruit, with the usual tea coffee and selection of fruit juices.
The staff couldn’t have been any more helpful, especially the reception staff who go out of their way to help!
Overall, an excellent hotel!

Hilton York is right were you need it to be, 2 mins walk around the corner and your in town centre!
Very well presented lobby area as you would expect from the Hiton chain, fantastic room sizes and amendities. Very modern and stylish throughout the hotel, giving an elegant feeling.
Being Hilton Honour guests we received a free bottle of wine in the room and other bits and pieces. Staff were extremely friendly and polite, going out of their way to help us with any queries we had. Approachable and easy to talk to, they made the stay even better for us.
The bar was pricey, as all Hilton's are, but still nice surrounds and good atmosphere. Breakfast was buffet of all hot food you expect to see at breakfast as well as the cold meats, cereal and other breakfast items, different juices and hot drinks, there was so much choice it was truely worth the money.
Only problem we had was the Hilton Car Park was full and we had to leave our car in a public pay and display, which when we worked it out didnt cost much more, just less secure. Although we could see the car from our room window which made it a little easier for us leaving it there.
Fantastic stay and very enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone looking to go there.
