Couldn’t wait to leave
Arrived to find twin room (2 beds) not double. Not exactly perfect for romantic week away with girlfriend. Complained and was told by front desk to move hotels if I didn’t like it.Food in main restaurant similar to school dinners with dirty tables and problems getting a knife and fork. Housekeeping ignores "do not disturb" sign.Supposed "a la carte" restaurants have one sitting and bookings start at 10am and are all booked by 10.30. People in queue told to come back next day and qyueue again. When i complained to guest relations I was told to change hotels if I didn’t like it which i would happily have done if I hadn’t already paid up front. I ended up spending a lot of money on food outside the hotel as even the snack bar wasn’t open at the times it was supposed to be. 29 degrees temperature but A/C didn’t work for 3 days. People are processed at this hotel, not treated like guests. Everything is offered as per the description but at an absolute minimum. I have stayed in better 3 star hotels. Stay here only if you are not wanting to be an individual and loved being at school, being herded and have no great expectations, and if you are not happy do not expect to be listened to or to be given your money back to move hotels. Choose therefore carefully where you stay in Kemer or like me you could also be waiting to be released from what felt like incarceration. Hotel architecture Great.

Our holiday at Kemer Resort did score much higher than expected. Kemer Resort is a truly wonderful hotel with all facilities you can wish for.
The hotel is very large and modern with excellent service! The staff is very friendly and professional. Great food, great entertainment, fantastic pool area, restaurants, bars, spa, movie, bowling and more.
We enjoyed every minute and it felt luxurious! We took massage treatments at the spa which very very relaxing.
Can't complain on anything, just that I found the beds and pillows a bit too hard for me, but that is for me (my husband liked the harder beds).
You could choose to eat two nights / week at the theme restaurants plus that the main restaurant offered one Turkish evening and one fantastic gala evening. The food were very fresh and tasty! Good beer and white wine (the red wine is not to recommend - to light).
We loved this hotel and will return soon!
Cheers from Sweden.

I was a little dubious about booking a 5 star hotel in Turkey expecting the hotel to be over rated. However my family including, partner and 2 children (13 & 14 years) and I, were really surprised. The hotel lived up to its 5 star rating, probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. The pools were never over crowded, even though the hotel was full (and it was in August) plenty of space and not one person reserved a sun bed by getting up early to place a towel on the bed!
The pools; 2 adult, 1 with water slides and 2 children's pools including a wave pool which is suitable for very young children, and 1 indoor pool were spotless. I was very impressed with the Turkish baths and 5 steam and 2 sauna rooms.
The beach was next to the pool with an array of water sports available and plenty of sun beds available. There was also an area situated under the trees with hammocks and bean bags to lounge around on. I noticed that there were lots of babies resting in this area in the afternoons. The restaurants were all a la carte, but we enjoyed eating outside at the main restaurant adjacent to the pool. The selection of food was excellent with the 8 or 9 chefs available to cook your selection of fresh fish or meat for you, on request.
The drinks for the children were excellent especially the slush puppies and ice creams that were available throughout the day. The alcoholic drinks were part of the all inclusive until 3am in the morning. The entertainment included a live show every evening which the older kids enjoyed, some of the shows were a bit naff, there was a kiddy club show, live music up to 12 midnight, then either onto the disco or to the live jazz bar, which was a little more relaxing than the disco.
It was great to leave the children now 13 & 14 to roam around the hotel at night, knowing that the security was excellent. There were table tennis tables (indoor and outside) bowling alley, 3 pool tables, mini cinema, mini golf, 1 tennis court though the squash court was not very good - probably the only criticism.
The bedrooms were very large with queen beds - we had adjoining doors whist friends we met had rooms with an upstairs where the kids slept. All had large balconies and fantastic views. The drinks bar was filled every day with water and cans of coke and Fanta. The rooms were very clean and filled with toiletries etc.
The majority of the people staying there were from Russia, though there were English families staying there too.
The town is within walking distance approx 8 - 10 minutes away where the clothes and leather items were in abundance.
We have stayed in many 5 star hotels all around the world and this rates as one of the best.

We booked a 5 star hotel in Kemer, Turkey, but rarely do Turkish hotels live up to their ratings.
However this one did. Everything was excellent.
This resort is ideal for anyone with walking difficulties, everywhere is so flat within the town.
Unfortunately the weather was not too kind but it was November.
Once this bird flu is sorted out would have no hesitation in going back.

This holiday was positively the best holiday that I have ever been on.
My mum, dad and I stayed at the resort for two weeks on all inclusive. We had a vast range of facilities to use that were on offer; Open & roofed Swimming pool, Kids & Wave pool, Jacuzzi, Steam Bath, Hamam, Sauna, Solarium, Table Tennis, Squash, Fitness Center, Bowling, Tennis, Water Sports & Scuba Diving Beach Volley, Mini Club, Game Room, Billard, Internet Café, Boccia, Water Polo Aqua Aerobic, Aerobic, Gymnastic, Mini Cinema just to mention a few!!
As well as 5 a la carte restaurants which were truly divine! The service that was given from the bar staff, waiters and waitresses, reception and security was fabulous and faultless as many spoke English fluently or exceptionally well.
Among all of this the evening entertainment was something for everyone to enjoy. There were dance shows, musicals, comedy acts etc... The animation team were fantastic, many would come and talk to you at your bar tables after their performances.
One of the most memorable nights that we enjoyed was the night that the hotel decided to celebrate one of the most important Turkish holidays. The tables were made especially for dinner, followed by a glass tower of champagne, ice sculptures were made to stand at the entrance for dinner where we were given a cocktail before we sat for dinner as well as a carnation from one of the animation team.
It was also the little extras that were not expected that we received. Just a few to mention were; the cocktails that waiters made for you, maids that arranged your bath towels in your bathroom and ice drinks that were handed out daily to those around the pool and on the pier by the animation team, even one of the animation team dressing up in a theme to entertain everyone of all ages!
We met many friends on this holiday, including those who still live in turkey. It was truly the most prestige holiday that I have ever been on!!
A five star resort that really does deserve 5000 completely faultless!!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We read other reviews on this hotel and thought we would give it a try as we had read mixed reviews. We arrived at the hotel and on entering it looked clean. We dropped off our luggage at the room which was fairly clean then went to sunbathe. On returning to the room we were intending on having showers but found out there was no hot water. My husband went to reception and reported it but it turned out that there is not enough hot water to cater for all the hotel guests! This is meant to be a five star hotel. We then went to get some food, where there was limited choice, and on tasting the food was sligthly warm. We complained to the restaurant manager but it was like talking to a brick wall. On speaking to other English guests, of which there were few, they said they had complained about water and food and nothing had been done. We then ate out every night to avoid the food even though we had paid for all inclusive. On returning to our room one evening we walked in to find the room had been ransacked and personal items had been stolen. It was traumatic. The Police were not interested as we were English and tried to insinuate we set it up ourselves. On talking to other English we were not the only ones who had been robbed. A family had their camcorder stolen from near their sun loungers and another family had luggage + pushchair stolen. I really would not recommend any English family going to Kemer Reach Hotel. I have had some lovely holidays in Turkey but Kemer is definately not one of them!
