Lovely time

Aug 2011, RIngram

We travelled with 1 17 year old and a 5 year old and also my parents in law and we all had a lovely time. There was lots of choice of food - available most of day... the daily fresh doughnuts were fantastic! The entertainment staff worked hard to keep everyone entertained. Weather peaked at 50 degrees. We visited the beach a few times which was nice - sand gets too hot to walk on though! Visited market in Kemer - nice. My husband and father in law had a Turkish massage in the spa and said it was a highlight.

Looking for a short break and trusting Tomas Cook, you can't go wrong here, basic but clean accommodation , beds changed daily, and towels, food amazing especially at nights, outdoor cooking, if you go hungry it's your own fault. All inclusive option you cannot fault it, the gardens and grounds are lovely, gazebo's and shady areas, fruit trees etc, an up n coming hotel where the staff are great, chefs are out and about at every meal, entertainment staff remember your name, not pushy and try their best to give an enjoyable stay. We were slightly concerned reading reports after we had booked, but will return here, for what we paid we cannot fault anything, thank you all for a wonderful break!!!!

  • Advice: Walk around, find your own space and enjoy, look out for outside cooking and you won't be disappointed

Awful, Awful, Awful

I need post traumatic stress therapy after visiting this hideous hotel, whilst I was there the hotel decided to ’harvest’ the many beautiful cats that lived in the hotel grounds (presumably to be killed). For some reason they decided to do this at breakfast in front of all the guests, including children who had been playing with the cats all week. It was shocking and horrifying to see the hotel staff handle the cats in such a violent and abusive way. Both Thomas cook and Qwerty Travel who the trip was booked with all denied that this happened and dealt with our complaint in the most appalling way

What a terrible place

Jan 2011, Shaney

My holiday was the worst week of my life. The management threatened us , by bulling and aggression and forced us to deleat our photos. All because they decided at breakfast time to cull the cat population! It was dreadful, cruelty to the extreme. This place was dirty, food was disgusting , the staff rude the decor dated. My advise is don't go near it. Booked through Qwerty Travel.

i cant believe how many people have slated this resort. i went last year and have just booked again for this july as the price is amazing .
there is one main pool(childs pool attached) with large waterslides but there is also a quiet childs pool to the back of the resort with there own mini waterslides.
they have a main restaurant area with a choice of outdoor dining where they set up areas so you can watch the chefs cook your food straight onto your plate ,but they also have another area for daytime snacks which is alot more relaxed as you can go in straight from the pool.they also have there own private beach over the road which a third food area complete with bar. once during your stay you have the option of going to a outdoor candle lit dinner complete with sliver service and waiters.
they have entertainment on everynight and a kids mini disco which my daughter loved , granted some of the nights were a bit stale but i suppose they have to cater for all nationalities. one night every two weeks they have a gala night which was absolutey brilliant and am really looking forward to going to it this year.
there is a tennis court, football court and small gym plus spa area, i had a full body massage which roughly worked out at £17.00...very relaxing .
the rooms are basic but how much time do you really spend in there???
loads of shops around the area and got lots of bargains ,just gotta learn the art of hackling..i was also told off one turkish shopkeeper that they are offended if you 'dont' try and get the price down.
all in all, food was nice ,reps were lovely ,hotel is clean...this combinded with the price is brilliant.i would (and have) recommend this holiday.

Our first visit to Turkey only our second time All Inclusive we were SO looking forward to this holiday. First impressions of the hotel were good, but then we realised there were lots of faults, dirty carpets, shoddy and dangerous wiring, cracked crockery, poor air-conditioning.....We do not want to be boring and too miserable but it did not represent a four star hotel. BUT we must point out that the staff were amazing, polite, happy and smiling and VERY well presented, shame the same cannot be said for the building they were working in. We also would like to point out that the tour operators are not at fault in any way, they have a very difficult job dealing with all the complaints.

  • Advice: Do not expect too much never a four star hotel

ITEMS AGAINST=Double booked rooms -Sunbeds reserved-Cats inhabit all areas,incl.restaraunts.-Aircon either turned down or inefficient.-TV reception poor room 502.-Occasionally, slow food replacement in restaraunt, perhaps if the management/chefs were to spend more time working instead of fraternising with the young ladys, then things may improve.-Ice cream only available on a chargeable basis.-No auto shower gel/shampoo replacement.-Issues with blown bulbs everywhere.-Entertainment and activities leave a lot to be desired.-Balcony not cleaned all week, hence no tip.-No conversation all week with any member of staff, appear either too busy or frightened by the regime in control.-Snackbar/drink slow at times.-Poor quality sand, but then I have been spoilt by the Norfolk beaches.
ITEMS FOR= Good food in restaraunt with lots of choice.-clean grounds/pool.-Turkish bath excellent.-Beach bar good service.-

Me and 5 friends went to this resort in july. It was a nightmare!! we went with thomas cook and would never go to this part of turkey again!!
please read all the reviews as i did but still went... such a waste of 7 days!!
we paid over 450pound each for 7 nights all inclusive!
the food was uneatable... so we ate out every night!!
our air con neva worked in one room and was leakin... they put a bucket in the room expecting us to change it!
we then went out for a day trip and on arriving back the room was flooded!!
my bed... my suitcase and all my closed!! to say i was angry was an understatment!!
we then demanded to change room...!!
the foom is cated for GERMANS/POLISH/RUSSIANS
there was a birds nest on our friends balcony which we asked to be removed and they said no... we cudnt sit on balcany as birds constanly flying around your head and pooing on all towels left out to dry!!
the drinks was given in vile plastic cups!! even the drink on the night!!
my other friends room was disgusting!!... so filty!!
the maids just walked in on the morning and never knocked!!
she was in bed!!!
when complaining the manager said he cudnt understand english!!!
the resort was very under developed and we had to travel to kemer every day which was expensive in the taxis!!
i would recommened you go sumwhere other than kemer!!!
please dont waste your money and please learn from my mistake!!

Great holiday!

This is a clean hotel with lovely staff who are always willing to help. Food was good. Breakfast consisted of fried eggs, soft and hard boiled eggs, sausages, salad (!) cold meats, variety of cereals, lovely bread and pancakes. Lunch and dinner were both lovely with a good selection of hot meals and fresh tasty salads.
Rooms are clean a bit dated. Good shower!
Pool area lovely and slides were great.
Animation Team worked endlessly all day and night and were great fun.
Evening entertainment was good fun and disco started at 11pm.
Resort is small and consists mainly of all inclusive hotels, no bars or restaurants to go out to for a change of scene!
Hotel shop was expensive with an ice cream costing £2.50!
Good market on Friday in Goynuk starts at 9am at the top of the Main Street near the Mosque. Great value kids football strips!
