Hi been to Kemer in Antalya in Turkey, it is a lovely place but the hotel we stayed in was the pits its located in the centre of Kemer we was close to the pier which had some wonderful boats in it and yachts.
KEMER HOTEL this hotel is NOT for people from the BRITISH isles they don't cater for us, IF u go to this hotel expect to EAT pasta and rice DAY IN DAY OUT its FOWL plus its all recycled if u don't eat it in the afternoon it will be put out to u the tea time or the next day there is not a DESSERT to be seen in between meals or after meals there is no SNACKS and ur beer is poured from plastic bottles which is CHEAP and nasty and also ur POP ie cola and orange NOT (fanta or coke) is cheap drinks and all left on the side to get really warm i told the waiters to put them back into the fridge which he turned round and said NO plus they were flat
the bathrooms r tiny if u stay at the top as we did and there is no lifts and we had to clime 5 flights of stairs everyday and night and for there toilet in reception its sideways which its disgusting so u have to sit on it sideways, which if u go u will see But please Dont waste ur money cos u will be disappointed as alot of people were moved we asked to be moved but we didn't get that far. Plus its very expensive in the town, People we met there will be putting reviews on too when they return home so Watch for what they say

This hotel was fabulous staff worked very hard and were all very friendly and helpful, would do any thing to please you . Animation team very good with the children great entertainment, candle lit dinners at beach of a night very romantic. The food was lovely always fresh even ice sculptures at food table take real pride in presentation, eat as much as you like go back and fill your plate as much as you like, bread table huge full of all kinds of bread and batches to fulfil everyone’s needs, not much hot stuff for veggies but each day they bring all hot food, jacket potatoes, freshly made in front of you pizza different toppings every day, salad and bread batches and snacks down to the beach bar so you don’t have to go back to the hotel for lunch.

Beware when booking this hotel as there is a darker side to the internet information about the Grand Kemer. The main hotel could very well qualify for a 5* rating with the standards of rooms, general service and food but another world awaits the unwary traveller across "the bridge". A footbridge links the main hotel with a compound of two storey buildings each housing eight or so rooms. These rooms are 1* at a push. No drawers, cupboards, the bathroom and toilet lacking privacy, a balcony looking over a non existant garden and the back of another dismal building led us to be transferred to another 5* establishment. The less mobile face a 200 metre trek to get to the hotel for meals, beach etc and in early or late season the lack of cover means a soaking during rainy weather on any trip to and from the room. None of this is mentioned in any advertising that we could find prior to booking and departure. Not impressed at all.
