Really good hotel in city centre.Great location.Rooms clean & comortable.Great for shopping & right by chinatown.Lots of bars nearby.Cheap to stay in this hotel but bar is dear.Get a holiday inn priority card.They are free online & let you check out late.Good parking right next to hotel.

Stayed at the Express by Holiday Inn for 3 nights as my husband and wanted to see Newcastle as our son was going to uni there in September was very impressed both with the city and our accommodation. Although a little bit away for city centre it was well served by buses from metro centre which was a 15 min walk. Take departure door no 14 2.60 all day ticket leaves you right at central station back to express was very clean , staff very friendly & would definitely stay again but forget about eating at fast food outlets SKIFF INN only 30 secs away fantastic food.

Very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff.
Rooms spacious. Continental breakfast, but plenty of it.
Very close to all amenities. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed here with my friend for three nights
Staff friendly and accomodating. Room very spacious and clean.nothing negative to report. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to friends who wished to take a trip up to Newcastle.
