Novotel is in a wonderful location in Southampton, in the centre great for the seafront and shops and rail/coach station.
Rooms were pretty standard, clean and tidy on entrance.
Staff were very friendly and always there to help when needed.
Breakfast was good and got us through the morning!

My partner and i decided to have a romantic night away, and chose the hotel as a quick option.
COST- £93 each £15 each for full breakfast
ROOM-Basic and dingy, carpet was brown and had stains and chewing gum encrusted in it, bathroom ceiling was falling down and suite was stained and ugly, decor was grey and furniture was cheap and falling apart.
service-poor not much service envolved
outlook-outside it looks reasonable but inside the vast space was not decorated to a high standard at all.
I stayed in PREMIER INNs at about half the price, they generally have larger rooms,better service and bedrooms are decorated beautifully as well as the bathrooms being quite luxurious.
WOULDN'T STAY AT THE NOVETEL AGAIN!
