Paloma grida village what can i say the staff were excellent very friendly and the animaition team and bar staff were excellent and made our holiday extra special. You can join in with the games or just relax in the sun it all depends in what you want. The swimming pools are spacious or you and lie and watch the waves by the sea. There isnt anything about this holiday that i could fault and this is the third time back. Roll on 2011.

I went to Grida Village when I was 15, with my family. We went for 2 weeks in August, and tbh i didn't want to leave! Because it was a mini-village, I was allowed more freedom, so made soooo many friends :) the reps were great fun and really friendly. Lots of french and german people there. Weather was perfect. Sea was warm, clear (I would recommend a boat trip!) water sports were awesome (free if they had no motor, eg; pedal boats) private beach - amazing :) literally on the complex! Thhere were loads of pools, slides. Food was really nice and there was a wide choice. Room was lovely - spacious and we kept the air con on all day and night so it was cool. Ideal for families, but not for anyone seeking a clubby/party holiday as there was nothing really in the surrounding area. Also, i would avoid the turkish male staff as they seemed to be a bit too friendly with teenage girls in particular - they appear kind but just don't get too friendly with them. Brilliant holiday!

The best family hol ever! we usually go to the carribien but was on a budget this year. Wow! so much food choice, my kids loved it here. This is fantastic for couples and families, the beach is great, appartments so clean and entertainment fantastic. You definately need 2 weeks here. The town is a 7 min walk where you can get really good bargins and the beach is so clean as it is a natural reserve for turtles. If you have kids big or small there are 3 pools to choose from with large and tiny water slides. We went at the end of season in Oct but was still busy and there were english, french and german hol makers. I definately recommend this hotel and I am a fusy mother!

honeymoon at the grida village

We have not long returned from our honeymoon in Turkey and we loved it!
We stayed 14 nights at the Grida village in Belek and it was a all inclusive 5* hotel complex. The accomodation was clean and nicely done out. We had a standard double room for ourselves and our children (1yrs &4yrs) and we had plenty of room and housekeeping came in each day. It was a beautiful hotel with everything you could want nearby. The pictures you can find on the internet do not do it justice and it was a real luxury to stay there. I didn't get to try the spa out but I heard from other english guests that it was lovely. The thomas cook staff were fantastic and really friendly. We put our 4yr old son into the Thomas cook kids club and he loved it. Compared to the hotels own polly club, it was safe, secure, trained staff and everything you'd expect from a well run english nursery/creche. Unfortunately I couldn't say the same for the poll club, the kids appeared to roam free with no proper supervision and mostly full of german kids. You can find sunbeds all around the pools but you are better off going to the beach/pool area before 8am to put a towel down or you take pot luck on whether you'll get one later on. The food was superb! we managed to find plenty for the kids as well but to be honest,it was so hot that we didn't feel that hungry until night time. They have 6 a'la carte restaurants on the site. We tried 3 out of the 6 and they were nice, The kids struggled in them so the main restaurants were better for us. The animation and thomas cook staff were great and did a fantastic job to make our holiday memorable. The turkish really loved our children and they really couldn't do enough for us. We will definately go there again!

Firstly I want to say we have been to the Antalya region before so we kinda knew what to expect and this year we took my partners mother and eldest son (18 years) and they loved it.
We cant really moan about anything, we had a slight problem with our room on arrival but that was sorted within the hour and ok the rooms are not really massive but how many hours do you spend in the room? or if you really want a big room all you have to do is moan all day (like the russians) but I would rather spend all day by the pool or beach.
A lot of praise must go to the TC pair (Cloe and Danielle) for there task of keep us happy even though us brits were the minority lol also a big shout out the Grida Village animation team (Mr Johnson (legend) Semi or is alfie (cant think of his name) the darts man.
Also the german darts team (at least we beat you at something ;-) ).
The food fine was as we expected not aimed at us brits but who cares really it was edible lol.
The hotel pools where fantastic, couldnt get the youngest out of the pool to put sun cream on :-( the best thing about the pool was the waterslides YAY the pools and the slides always had a lifeguard on duty which impressed us all unlike other hotels we have been too.
Highlight had to of been the euro final between Germany and Spain, us english sang our hearts out for the spanish to win lol
All in all it was a fantastic holiday meeting loads of fellow brits including Darren, Charlote, George, Clare. Jacob the red army Aintree, Sarah and Sue.
PS We would deffo go back without a doubt.

just back from a fantastic all inclusive hol in grida village! what a fantastic time, we had, (my mum, dad and brother max).
the reps were brill, and really hardworking! the food was amazing, and the water slides were the best fun. the shows in the evening in the amphitheatre were out of this world - where else can you see african acrobats, turkish belly dancers, and the shaolin monks all in the same week??
met loads of people from all over the world, even made pals with a girl from russia! can't wait to go again next year!!!
it was great to meet junior from turkey and not forgetting mr johnson from africa - who said everybody was "his best friend" nice guys, great friends............

We spent 2 weeks at Grida and were so surprised. it was fabulous, great room great service, great weather & the food was fantastic having 2 small children I was worried about what they would eat, we stuffed our faces for 2 weeks all the a la carte restaurants were great!
The only downside was having too get up early the day before to book them, we always got what we wanted. You do have to put tour towels on sun beds early to get the place you want. Lots of Russians & Germans out there, they don’t queue so you don’t.
Entertainment was good, pools were fabulous. The resort was very clean.
We had a great time & would definitely go back & would recommend this resort highly.
