An older cheaper type hotel typical of the type used by coach holidays. Without exception the multi-national staff were brilliant.
The meals were varied and quite good. The bar was very pleasant but fairly expensive, Pint of bitter £2.60.
The bedroom we had was getting tatty but clean; it was also very cold, but being fair this was an extremely cold period all round.
The Hotel is ten minutes from the town and seaside.
All things considered our Twixmas holiday was good value for money.

This is a dump. The room I was given stank of cigarette smoke and the curtain was hanging on one hook!! I was given a better room when I complained but A colleague found some one else’s nightie under her pillow.
The manager was quite unhelpful during a long power cut. and the £40 per night charge was definitely not worth it. I left after one night to another hotel where everything was fine. But the waitress who served breakfast was lovely I would advise her though get another job.

i've thrown away better beds! Curtain hanging down, tie back for 2 curtains but only one at the window, stretched to cover the window ! Dirty, stained chair, no mattress protector, sheet straight on the mattress, horrid.
Chairs in bar, torn and damaged so one of our party nearly landed on the floor! Very friendly lift (i.e. tiny) with huge hole in the floor carpet. Expensive, and no restaurant
