I just wish there was a 'Carrington Hotel' at every seaside. It was clean, smart, comfortable and good value. The fully cooked breakfast was first class and the evening meals a treat.
There is a modestly sized swimming pool but very clean and modern with showers, soap and towels included. A 'wacky warehouse style' play area for children with an outdoor play area too. The long evening lounges are very welcoming and relaxing
There is a lovely tree lined route that we walked down each morning to the beach and overall we enjoyed a really nice holiday here at Bournemouth.
I would recommend the Carrington to anyone, especially young families with children.

Have just spent two nights at this hotel on a dance weekend. Unfortunately I arrived with my leg in plaster and on crutches.
There were three steps up to the bar from reception and the disabled lift was out of order all weekend which meant I had to use my backside to go up. Also the lift to the room they put me in was also up these stairs.
To get to the dance hall there was a lift on the other side of the hotel, which meant I had to use two lifts and walk round the entire hotel to get to the rest of my party.
I found out later that there was a lift from rooms directly over the dance hall to bedrooms, why did they not give me one of these, rather than the able bodied people in our very large group. This gripe aside, the hotel is quite nice.
The room was adequate if a bit tired. The bed was comfortable. The common areas were very nice and the staff were friendly and very helpful and cheerful on the whole.
All in all not a bad hotel, have booked to go again next September when hopefully I will be able to walk.
