Capofaro Malvasia & Resort

My wife and I spent one week of our honeymoon in Capofaro. We were looking forward to some peace, quiet and relax, just the two of us, and this was a perfect getaway. The island of Salina is beautiful and Capofaro is in a fantastic position. The premises are simple but charming, and we really enjoyed our stay. With my wife we stayed in the Capofaro Resort for 7 nights during our honeymoon in mid-june 2006 ((--)). The place is simply wonderful. The place has been recently refurbished. It is a small resort, with some 12 or so rooms, including some suites. Each room is indeed a little house, with opwn terrace. If you can chose, ask for number the 20. The staff is super-helpful and welcoming. The resort, a property of the Tasca D' Almerita wine maker, is in the middle of the vineyards.
